What's funny is like 10 or 20 years we're going to be having videos about how VR phased out PlayStation😂😂 I got in the VR about 4 years ago and haven't gone back to a console since and now with wireless standalone headsets they're a fraction the price of a console with everything included it's just a matter of time😂😂

The biggest issue with Street Fighter 2 on the Genesis/Mega Drive was the garbled audio. The SNES version was far better. Mortal Kombat 1 was closer to the arcade on SNES than on Genesis but the blood issue killed it. However, Mortal Kombat 2 on SNES was a monumental success. It was such a brilliant port as opposed to the woeful version on Genesis.

I liked this game until the Forsaken Fortress. Yeah its the first dungeon whatever I had a pain getting through it. I feel like even if we were familiar with 3D Zelda it was still stupid to give the player a sword only to take it away and then dog pile it with a stealth section. I haven't sailed around yet but luckily I am playing the HD version

My friend found this at a pawn shop and bought it the same day. Then we went to his house and he played it while I watched and that was my first exposure to it. I ended up buying my own copy and beating it. Still my fave SNES title along with Super Metroid.

I love the first one. It's on my top five NES list. It's sequel is... Well, I could stand it up until the third palace. I beat the game once, on the GBA without using a walkthrough and it took eons. Zelda 1 Ive beaten twice from the beginning and never beaten the second quest as I found it too hard. I do like Links moveset in Adventure tho particularly the down thrust.

This was a really great video, and a great retrospective on the original Xbox. Just 1 minor correction. At 39:30, it is mentioned that the 360 would include HDMI. While true on later revisions, I don't believe the launch model had HDMI.

Here's the question....how do you go from passionate developers putting their all in a project like with the original Xbox to what we have now? How did we move from truly revolutionary thinkers to the absolute clown show before us today? 10 years ago the industry was so solid it was quite literally unstoppable. Now, we are staring at a probable video game crash of global proportions.

With the GameCube, Nintendo catered too much to girls and little kids, that's why it failed. girls on average don't play videogames, and little boys want cool stuff, not wimpy looking, purple, girly stuff.. it's simple.. they should have had me design the system. 😊

That statement that they made another console that didn't make an impact is going too far. Their console did make impacts on gaming, they never won over the market share. I would say their games didn't have the same appeal as Nintendo games. But games that were produced by 3 party ran better on sega I'll finish listening to the video now had to get that off my chest

I’m a microcosm for the GameCube’s failure. I was 9 in 2000 and was discovering “adult” things with my friends, mostly swearing, sex and certain aspects of violence. At the time the 6th generation started, I thought James Bond and Ocarina of Time’s adult Link were the coolest characters ever. Hell, I even dressed as James Bond my last time going trick-or-treating. Now, I also loved Quake Doom and Duke Nukem, but had kinda forgotten about them because all my friends had N64s and we’d play Goldeneye deathmatch, or try to prove each other wrong when we’d start a rumor about unlocking something in OoT. In other words, about as 90’s kid as you could get. Skip to “that” SpaceWorld video of Link fighting Gannondorf that my cousin showed me a video of when he came over and I thought it was the coolest damn thing on the planet. Bionicle plus Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask and kid me thought serious swordsman characters with elemental powers was peak media. Then I a saw Windwaker… I was livid that I wasn’t getting a more “mature” Zelda game. On top of that, my dad, who was a PC guy with a macho attitude about games, talked about how a console built similar to a PC would make faster, better games and there’d probably be games like Quake on it. I saw Halo for the first time and thought it would be a lot like Quake. It wasn’t, but I thought the idea of being a super soldier that can beat aliens to death when he doesn’t have time to reload was awesome. I even told one of my friends that “compared to Masterchief, James Bond is pussy” I also saw Max Payne and thought it’d be like Goldeneye but better. There was nothing wrong with the GameCube, but timing. Late-90’s edginess, plus N64 kids going through puberty was a death knell for the console. I still wish Wind Waker and Twilight Princess were made in the oppose order, so they could’ve been recognized as the classics they were in their time
