Hello, Lovely Friends!!

I am Melody. This is where I document my yarn obsessed life, share patterns from my blog being made life in a tutorial fashion aaaaand judge (review) yarn and notions.

While I love to crochet you will also find a sprinkle of everything else I enjoy on this channel.

I also knit, draw, paint and shop and decorate for seasonal fun. I am endlessly inspired by DIY project and Pinterest. I love to dye fabric and yarn. Fitness and Yoga are a big part of my life. I love road trips and exploring the outdoors.

You will find I keep it positive, honest and flavor all things with my quirky sense of humor. I hope to inspire you to new try things, have fun, fail frequently right along side me and never leave home without a yarn project.

And I didn't understand where you said skipping. That little gap cause I didn't like the way it looked. What gap? Also, were we counting the single crochet as a double or was I still supposed to put an extra double crochet in that same slot? So was it supposed to be a single crochet? And two double crochets or was it supposed to be single crochet and one double crochet???

This is the first pattern in which I've seen the shaping rounds. I think I'll like those for a more rounded shape at the top and less of a "pill box" top. I think you are putting the first HDC of each round into the base of the ch-2 every time; is that correct? (That's what I usually do but I can't tell from the video in some of the rounds.) Thanks Subscribed.

Is it possible to use cotton yarn to make bucket hats especially for the spring and summer? If yes should the yarn be doubled? It is 4 weight cotton that I purchased from hobby Lobby

Lilys sugar and cream…the larger rough type will replace the acrylic in this hat well all by itself. But, the thinner cottons (like I Love This Cotton and the multicolor Lilys sugar and cream is thinner and drapier and would probably need a smaller hook and more repeats. I’ll do a video with one of those tomorrow!

I like your video because it's well explained. It jumps right to: how to do it; not a 3 min intro before you get to the point. You left the explanation for after and that's perfect! But please.. it's been 3 years since this vid, tell me you moved onto a better hook... :)

Have you thought to do a video to teach children? You would be good at it. Just use a light color so you can see the stitches. I like to count my stitches with each row’s increase and place a marker in the double stitches. I mark my circle before I start my row so I know where to put the double stitch to keep track. I learn this while making this. I to am using a dark color yarn. Thank you for sharing you basket tutorial.

Sorry, I am not filing thru all your old videos to find the beginner tips....in the time you took to explain where to find the magic loop instructions you could have made a much more helpful video by just explaining it period. For those that know how and don't want to listen they can skip ahead in the video. Went to another video for a better more comprehensive tutorial🤷🏼‍♀️

I come in love (ANY BUA BHaB, in Hebrew). Christ-m-a-s is from ancient Babylonian worship of Nimrod and Semiramis, who are written of in the Tower of Babel testimony (Genesis) and also Semiramis is written of later in Scriptures, as the woman calling herself, "The Queen of heaven." Alexander Hislop wrote an excellent book called The Two Babylons or The Papal Worship: Proved to be the Worship of Nimrod and his Wife. // SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). ...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2).
