This is our small family's homestead. We have a 30x16 garden. And a huge chicken coop with heritage laying hens. This is our first time and Justin Rhodes inspired me to start my own channel.

We had a duck one time, we named her Ms White. She taught me more about being a man than any other thing in life. At first, she had only one leg good, while she dragged the other one around. In time, the boys broke her other leg, trying to breed her. One winter, it was a foot or so snow and everything was frozen out. She would take her beak and drag herself around in those kind of conditions to get life done. When i watch her determination not to give up. In my heart I was smote as I looked inside myself to see if I was half the man she was. Ms. White got a new name that day. I called her badass from that point forward. She taught me how to show strength when I had none to give. The bird house looks great up that way!
