This happened to me as well. All I did was uninstall the drivers from my computer and then reinstall them. Make sure when your reinstalling the drivers that your usb cable is NOT Plugged into your computer or it will not read it. So after it’s reinstalled then plug your usb cable back in and it should be good to go. Hope this helps.

How did you get so much gain with the dial so low? I’ve had this amplifier for two years now and it’s possibly become my favorite. It’s so sensitive to the guitar you are using. My cheap Kramer got more gain out of it than my prs cores. Also between models of prs it sounds like two different amps. In a case you don’t like this amp I strongly suggest you hold onto it because for a while I considered selling it but now I actually look forward to it like when I used to feel the enthusiasm for when I first picked up my guitar!
I use a boss sd-1 in front to boost the gain and keep it tight
maybe you should add a mulch which helps retain moisture
I repotted with Fox Farm potting soil and that seems to help but will add some mulch. What mulch do you recommend?
The quickest and easiest solution is to apply a wetting agent like yucca extract. It comes in a concentrated syrup which you dilute in a watering can apply to the soil. You then give a really good soaking to the soil with a water hose, and it should foam a little. To further conserve moisture, you can apply some mulch. I like 'gorilla hair' mulch but you can use anything rated for gardening.

I've had a Deopfer A190-4 for many years and from the start the midi input socket was ultra tight! Well lo and behold recently when I tried to unplug the midi cable it broke the whole socket and the (female) midi input is stuck onto the midi cable. Im just wondering if I was unlucky with my module or if others have had a similar midi socket issue....
yea I have a good set of eurorack sequencers now with MIDI that make life way easier.
@@GuitarsAndSynths I was asking if anyone else had a super tight midi in socket on the A190-4 that made a midi cable nearly impossible to remove and eventually broke the input socket when I tried to remove said midi cable. I'm not quite sure I understand your reply about sequencers....
Y por qué no le quitas el modo PLAY (luz verde). Si le tienes con la luz verde, lo tienes modo play y es por esa razón que no se escucha en ese canal porque está en modo play del proyecto que tienes guardado. Tienes una pista activa en ese canal y no te va a sonar entrada si no desactivas la pista del proyecto (desmarca el botón verde).
How does this work with syncing the Virus to other gear as well as using the Touch app?
I tested to Squarp Hapax over MIDI and Elektron Rytm and it works fine but you need to set the MIDI channels on the Virus and external gear to avoid conflicts on MIDI ports.
zoom live trak is a crappy mixer. i have the same livetrak L12 and everytime it is connected to an e drum set or keyboard it produces an orchestra music, dont know where it’s coming from, i factory reset it and still doing it. One more thing the push button in the recording panel doesn’t work sometimes, i contacted zoom support and they never replied to me! i hope i can return it, 6 mos after I bought it
agree it is garbage. Looking for a better high end mixer and I have a bunch that suck. Anyway probably better go direct to audio interface after upgrade mixers.
never again to this BS mixer, up to date zoom never reponded to me, now the push button/knob from the recording panel stopped working completely. What puzzles me is the orchestra music coming out of from this unit when connected to my edrums and keyboard. Even if you turn off the drum module and keyboard with the cable still connected, that damn music is still there, my unit maybe is possesed with evil zoom entity!😂

I'm having the same issue. I'm using Cubase and when I click on the monitor icon I can't hear anything. The stereo input is set on 9&10, I checked all my settings and I still can't hear anything
Turn soft through off, not sure why that fixes it but it does 🎉

they would use similar settings for MIDI on the AR but I have not tested it yet.

Sounds good. How hard do you have to press the preset encoder to save presets? Got a used AHmk2, I have to press it down quite hard to save a preset, as in, I hold it down and it does nothing and then only when I apply more pressure does it show the menú to save a preset and such. This is defective, right?
Not very hard at all as it was fairly soft touch. You may need to replace one of your encoders. I would say a fairly light pressure works on mine.

ive been wondering this also. What i'd like to do is name the folders on my pc: leads pads basslines drums live jams (all instr) then when i record something i can put it in the right folder and keep things organised without having to input names on the zoom.. i still havent tested this yet tho. Did you find anything out about this, any progress?
If you change the names of the folders you'll disrupt the hierarchy structure that the zoom is programmed to record in. It would be similar to changing the path of source material in a saved document. It wouldn't know the path anymore and would say something like 'file not found'. Maybe you could record them all in one folder and distribute them to their proper folder once you put them on your PC.
are you using the original Access USB drivers?

Did you try to send the signal out the headphone Jack? Also a reviewer said that the xlr cable to 1/4 Jack to your speaker amp has to be a certain type or you won’t get a signal.

I don't think that this is possible and you have to still use the old Virus software to do this but I could be wrong. Perhaps send a friendly email to Aura support? I have an old computer for this reason to update the flash rom banks on my Virus TI2.

I have an L-20, and I have all these issues. It's miserable. I regret the day I bought it. It's funny how reviewers (like Midlife Synthesist, who totally worshipped this thing, and influenced me to buy it) never seem to encounter these issues.
same here and multiple calls to Zoom support have been useless. The record to USB flash drive works well but as an audio interface it sucks! I prefer my other audio interface mixer records like TX-6 and 1010 Bluebox that are easier to use and work well. Zoom is junk!
I ended up getting an ADAT and adding it to my Apollo Twin X. It was like instant relief. I didn't know ADAT's existed when I started out 3 years ago, but they're insanely easy to use, and if your interface has good management software, then you won't really miss a mixer - or, at least, I don't. I might consider one of Zoom's little microphone recorders at some point, but I'm done with their mixers, and completely agree with your comment.@@GuitarsAndSynths
P.S I think the philosophy behind the virus is to be a piece of art that will never run out of creative possibility and it's supposed to push an artist into new creative realms by having to really understand how it's programming works..? It's engineered to be future proof maybe..? I wonder what the world would look like if it were engineered like the Virus haha.

are you able to change the preset for all 16 channels in Multi mode? I am having an issue where I can only change the first 10 channels. 11-16 will not respond to the app.

@@GuitarsAndSynths Thanks. For clarification, 11-16 respond to the app BUT the app will not transmit the preset changes out to the TI2. No issues sending PC messages from other devices to those channels.

It appears as though your source input is set incorrectly. It should correspond with the channels on the interface. In this case, it should be set to 9/10 if i’m not mistaken.

My guess is you have a bad preamp tube because of how it reacted, especially in your other video. Fuses can rather easily and safely be checked for continuity and usually just totally go to prevent the melties. You could probably carefully remove the back when it is off and unplugged, and visually look at the tubes when it is in back on and in standby. The glow should be relatively even between the types of tubes. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING INSIDE WHEN IT IS PLUGGED IN! It will also take a period of time for the stored voltage to get to a safe level, check your owner’s manual for guidance or take it to a amplifier technician. The stored voltage could be a significant amount! ☠️ Look up Defazio Electric on KZread, she has some great insights that may help you. Be safe and good luck!

At the top of the Logic channel strip you have input 1 selected you need it to be a stereo track and the input needs to be 9&10 or what ever channel you choose. Logic has no way to automatically guess your input channel so you MUST choose it at the top of each channel strip in the Logic Pro mixer.

That squeeling noise sounds like a microphonic tube to me. Unplug your guitar, turn the amp on and the volume up. Now start to tap the amp head slightly with your fist, if you can hear noises coming from the cab you can be sure one of the tubes has become microphonic. Other method to test for microphonics is to unscrew the backcover of the amp and use a pencil so slightly tap the individual tubes.Dduring this test, there shouldn't be any excessive noise comming from the cab.
so if that is the case would it be the preamp or power tubes that are bad and need to be replaced?
@@GuitarsAndSynths That totally depends on which tube is causing the problem. No need to replace all of them.
You’ve gotta go one by one and swap out them all to determine the bad tube. Start with the preamp tubes.
