  I started watching this on my computer, as soon as the music started I turned it off. There was only one thing to do to set the appropriate mood : I headed straight to the shops for supplies, I came back as quick as I could with the music from the first 5 seconds of your video still haunting me. I rushed back popcorn in one hand, beer in the other prepared for perfect barrels, ambient tribal music and Beast Mode Tube Taming from the master of the left............RJ ! I am calling it "I may watch it more than once"

  Not talking just this video, obviously a small manageable pool wave... but I don't se others chilling in the barrel off the take off in these pools then casually making the deep section from way back... that and seeing you navigate and make all those beasty barrels at Pipe and Spot are at another level. @@RIK_JAMES420_POV

  I haven’t been to Melbourne but from what I’ve heard from others, Sydney is better. For my first wave pool experience I wasn’t disappointed by the wave at all.

  I haven’t been to Melbourne but word on the street from the people who have, Sydney is better. I think the takeoff section at Sydney specifically is better from people who have surfed both.

  Sorry bruzy, can't help you with any locations but with a little bit of sleuthing it shouldn't be too hard to pin point. The exploration of potential zones and trying to find the gems is where all the fun lies in my opinion.

  The morning before this I paddled out and got tossed on the ledge multiple times before the wind went bad, then came in and went around the corner where I got planted on my back shredding my wetsuit and myself. I almost pulled the pin on this session early after getting rolled on the ledge on my first 4 attempts. It’s not always as easy as it seems, I well and truly paid dues before this session came together.

  If your lens has a hydrophobic coating ( I think from hero 9 standard lenses onwards ) then you need to burn it off with a lighter. There should be tutorials on KZread. Other than that, lick your lens before using it in water and then periodically throughout your session and you should be good 👍

  There’s a few waves I chase around that area but I like to keep it fresh and travel around to different places. Last year was a nightmare with illness and injuries so I’m looking forward to getting back into adventure mode again this year. Hopefully catch you in the lineup in the future 🤙
