Both of us spent our 20s as working actors in Hollywood before moving to Orlando to work at the Walt Disney World resort as performers. One of us is retired, sort of, and the other works as an author (“SERVICE is a SUPERPOWER") and keynote speaker.
We’re inspired by Ben and David's fabulous cruise videos @Cruisewith, and also the sweet, charming adventures of Charlie and Will @charlieandwillofficial. We hope you enjoy our adventures and tips from places like France, Disney parks, beach resorts, themed restaurants, movie conventions, Vegas and sometimes just a lark with our Havanese fur babies, Daphne and Bijou. We have other dreams and trips planned that we hope you'll find, well, entertaining at least.

Amazing content! I am going on the Ascent next May for my honeymoon! We are starting in Rome and going to Greece and Turkey! So so excited!!!

I was on the same cruise 3 weeks ago.. the historical sites were jam packed with people - barely any room to walk. The Ephesus tour was great - but the “5 star” hotel they took us to was trash- food was beneath a days in. Just saying.

Great video Gentlemen, I'm surprised Celebrity allowed you to bring guests in the Retreat that our not in a Suite.
They were gracious but we didn't push it. This was our friend's first cruise so they weren't sure about the Retreat. Since we hadn't been to Lumanae all week they invited us to please bring our friends. Also, we've spent a lot of money with Celebrity over the last year. Thank you for commenting!!
We cruise exclusively with Celebrity ,25 cruises 11 suites you both our right once you go in a suite its hard to go back just started watching your videos. I am a new subscriber . Thanks again John M.

How is the hydrofoil ride? Did many people get seasick?
Good question! About ten minutes before the end of the ride three people RAN to the back to get sick. Let's just say, I was ready to get off. Another ten minutes I might have joined them.
I do like your content. As a solo Celebrity and especialky The Retreat is a bit dear. So greeat to get an insight. It seems you both had another entertaining trip. Wow places in Italy were indeed crowded.

Your butler comment hit me suddenly, as I heard this exact story from another person's video. They ran into this rather aloof person who said "Oh you won't see much of me, I'm the head butler etc., etc., and it turns out that isn't supposed to be that way." I do know they recently returned butler service to the sky suites after having removed it, I'm not sure what's going on but I think there is a level or "Oh I moved up a bit and don't have to be around all that much." That really isn't the case. I hope they fix it. I've done many early January cruises and I find them fabulous!
Someone told us you have to go all the way to the Celebrity Suite for full-on butler service. Not sure if this is true.

I'm betting someone made a mistake on the plant, it's base may be too small and it falls over with the slightest movement or shove?
Robert, at this point the plant/bowl thing is a ridiculous source of joy for me. I’ve checked the pics of the cabins on the Celebrity Ascent on the Website and the planter is on the coffee table but the dreaded big bowl is nowhere to be seen. Obviously! Who knows when those showed up. HAHAHAHA! If you want another decorating laugh watch our cruise vlog of our Celebrity Suite Cabin in the Summit. More vases, planters and bowls than HomeGoods!!! HAHAHAHAHA!

Wow! So happy I could find it. I honestly wasn’t sure if I’m still using the same royalty free music service as I was then. But here it is! It’s on ARTLIST, the song is called CASSEROLE and the “album” it’s on is called THE ORIGINAL ORCHESTRA: AN EVENING WITH ZIV MORAN. I really like the music on there by Ziv Moran and have used many of (his?) (their?) songs on other vlogs. Hope this helps. 😊

My dad used to take us there all the time when I was a kid! Even though it's been 30 years, I still remember the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage like it was yesterday.
The corner magic carpet suites are my favorite but I would never book those rooms next to them, you can see right inside.Agree love Luigi, had him o the Beyond !

Yes and no.
A bit more rareified then our Veranda cabin, but we loved the ship as well. The shows were incredible!
It really is a wonderful ship! We’ve been on the Ascent twice since the Apex, but we’re not sure that we don’t like the Apex better. Looking forward to trying the other Edge ships too.

I believe the connecting door was to the other side of the Magic Carpet.
