    Mine seems fine. I have the TM22A20 20" barrel. I have put say 800 rounds through and like you used about 350 rounds of Aquila 40 gr copper round nose with good luck. I was hitting 6" steel at 150 yds with a red dot.Hope this works out for you as I like you really like this gun. $260 from PSA tax shipped and FFL

    IMO an AI mag is pointless on a hunting rifle…

  • @louisfox553
    @louisfox5536 ай бұрын

    If it’s 223 you shouldn’t fire 556. Some rifles are chambered to fire both but I wouldn’t put 556 through a rifle designed specifically for 223 only. The minor difference in the neck of the cartridge between the two rounds coupled with the slight increase in pressure of the 556 creates more pressure than the 223 rifle was designed for. Sure , it probably won’t explode in your face when you pull the trigger but “probably won’t explode” is not something you want to risk every time you pull the trigger

  • @BrassJeep
    @BrassJeep5 ай бұрын

    This is a European rifle built to CIP standards not SAAMI. It was designed around the 5.56 not the .223 no matter what the caliber designation is. 👍 I have multiple Cz’s, and you can call and ask and that is what I have been told.

    You poor bastard. Ok, the stock is crap, it still flexes. It doesn't matter that it has an AI mag because you would have to replace the stock and the Magpul comes with the AI-Mag well to swap it out. BUT, because of the safety, you're screwed. You just wasted your money. It's a "SLIDE" safety. Those are notorious to wear out and then every time you shoot the recoil will cause it to move position. Gen 1 was ugly but amazing personality. Gen 2, they prettied it up with make up and gave it both Aids and Herpies cause of the safety. You're screwed dude.

    My Mossberg 500 12 guage has a tang mounted slide safety. It's over 40 years old and has countless rounds through it. Even the recoil from full house 12 guage rounds has never loosened it and still works the same as when it was new.

  • @peterjbarclay
    @peterjbarclay6 ай бұрын

    "Countless" as in you have no clue and probably haven't put more than 200 through it. I'm sure it's 40 years old after siting in a closet never being used until you got it. Now I can use the term countless in the exact same way to describe the number of shot guns I've personally seen where the safety has worn out and they either pulled it or were bitching about it. That includes shotguns that I have owned and when I mention 40 years, it's because I've OWNED it for 40 years. I've even met people who "thought it was suppose to work like that" cause it's the only way they've seen them work. Either that or you're just extremely lucky. The simple fact is slide safeties do this and are the biggest POS. @@johnrussell2003

  • @johnrussell2003

    You have no clue as to how I used that shotgun. I've hunted upland game all those years and shoot trap with it nearly every weekend in season. I have replaced action parts that have worn out several times but the safety was never one of them. Count me lucky.....

    Why throw an airsoft scope on a hunting rifle.. dont need to throw $1000 glass on it, but at least a cheap burris or something

  • @JBearwebb
    @JBearwebb6 ай бұрын

    That is an extremely good point. Under most circumstances one should pay as much for the scope as the rifle and insure quality. I personally like the Vortex products and have them on my Ruger American Predator and my CZ 600 Alpha. I have two reasons for my “madness”😂 1) I simply like to experiment with products that I am not familiar with and Monstrum is new to me…and second: My firing range is limited to 250 yards

  • @sebastianpoe3799
    @sebastianpoe37996 ай бұрын

    @@JBearwebb eh thats kind of an outdated way of thinking. Manufacturing has caught up so much that you dont need to spend as much on the glass as you do the rifle to get good quality glass. You can get decent glass now for $300-$500 and itll get you out to 1000. But a monstrum scope lol? Its not even for centerfire. Its for airsoft lol.
