  I just traded my 2019 6.2L 10-speed for a 2018 6.2L 8-speed. I had to get back into the 8-speed package because the fuel mileage is so much better. The 10-speed doesn't coast like the 8-speed, at any speed, and suffers greatly in mpg for my driving style. 22mpg on the highway driving 82-85mph vs 17.5mpg driving the same in the 2019.

  The traverse is the better choice. The acadia seems to fall short of all expectations. Both the interior and exterior just looks and make sense on the traverse. The Acadia just seems like a hit and miss the mark feature.

  value of a vehicle depends on multiple factors, condition, cafax info. There is no way I can give you a value of one without seeing the vehicle or knowing more about it.

  How do you get the radio to SCAN all the FM stations and automatically add them to the presets? Every car radio I've used in the past has a SCAN button that automatically scans for all the over the air stations.

  Now they have a browse option instead of scan otherwise you just have to manually do it.

  That depends on the radio station if it broadcast that info.

  ok that makes sense but when it is on the fm station none of the stations on fm would broadcast the name of the song or artist. It was there one day and then the next day it disappeared. @@ChevyDave

  That price may be a problem, but it's larger than the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E, VW ID.4, or Nissan Ariya, one does wonder if Chevy is planning a 1-2 punch with the Blazer EV and smaller Equinox EV, it's like about 2 inches shorter in overall length, wheelbase about 6 inches shorter, width about 3 inches shorter

  Permanently disabling the AutoStop, and tossing the 20s for 18s made the Driving Experience much Better. The Touch Screen is pretty much Useless and Dangerous. The 3.6 does get very good Gas Mileage, but being a 3.6, all versions will have Timing Chain Problems, as well a Valve Train Problem due to the Cylinder Deactivation. It took a bit of Work, but removal of the OnStar system was another Experience Enhancer. Seats a bit on the Hard Side, but not as bad as the STS. Unfortunately the Shocks are a Small Fortune, cause there is something Electrical in them. This one is the Ugliest Colour available for a Car, Black. It looks 100 times better in Red, or White, or Silver, or Blue, or any other. I wonder how much the Dealership regretted offering that Powertrain Warranty?

  I love the look of this EV especially the red and black. That being said it is to expensive for normal people not living above their means. I would love to own one of these but can't justify the price when you can get a Bolt or EUV with better features at a way better price point. I love EV's but price will prohibit many from buying. Every EV manufacturer should have a 20-25k base model car before incentives so that real normal people can afford. Great vid.

  It needs more power to really compete. The mass market isn’t going to switch to an EV if it has the same or less power and costs $20k extra. An RS Blazer with a 3.6L V6 makes 308HP/270TQ.

  Maybe I missed it, but you never talked about battery size, range, tire size, vehicle gross weight, onboard charger size, does it have a frunk, does it have a heat pump, what can be controlled by the app away from the car, does it have a pet mode? These are the things EV buyers want to know!

  Sentry mode or Dashcam mode. That's very important. Lots of crazy folks out there that's targeting specifically EVs. I caught a guy on my aftermarket dashcam turning off the charger at a public parking. I saw him walk around my car to the back, and coincidentally, my car stopped charging at the same time. Because my aftermarket dashcam in facing one angle, I didn't actually capture him turning it off. All EVs have atleast 2 cameras, of all the things manufacturers steal from Tesla including those flush door handles, I think Sentry mode and pet mode are the only features worthy of theft.

  I'm hoping not, there will be more BlazerEV models produced than Lyriqs so hopefully that helps with the quality control by being more of a mass produced vehicle.

  Dave - does the vehicle come with a CCS to NACS adapter as well, so that we would be able to charge from a Tesla supercharger once they open up to other brands? I saw that Honda (which is also on the Ultium platform) will include the adapter with their vehicles. Hoping GM will do the same.

  Thanks for the comment, it does not come with the CCS to NACS adapter. You would have to purchase the adapter separately. GM is integrating the NACS chargers in 2025 so closer to those production dates you may see the adapters coming with the vehicles right before the switch, but this one does not have it.

  Nobody talks about it I’m guessing because it’s *gm,* but I just want to congratulate their design team and engineers for how they’ve been able to bring their concepts to production and execute them so damn well. This could’ve been another Genesis GV80 coupe story, but it wasn’t. This looks absolutely gorgeous and I bet the design is even more striking in person. Can’t wait to test drive and get a feel for interior quality in person! It looks stunning, even luxurious for a Chevy.

  The 247 mile range 1LT got cancelled. Now 279 to 320 mile ranges for Blazer EV.
