"Poor Reger, so many notes, so little music". So it's obvious that not every composition Max Reger ever wrote was a real "hit". It would help to have a good organ, too. Good acoustics alone are not enough.

Wunderbar! Zu schade das ich heute beim Deinem Konzert in der Berliner Sophienkirche keine Zeit habe, hätte dieses Stück gerne live meinen Ohren gegönnt!

Fantastisch! Neue klassische Orchestermusik mit einem vertraut vorkommenden Passagen berühmter anderer Komponisten, das wäre phasenweise eine ganz wunderbare Filmmusik. Dieses mit viel Wiedererkennungwert gespickte Werk hat es verdient ein zweiten und dritten Akt hinzuzufügen. Dieses großartige Orchesterstück könnte auch als Verstärkung eine Orgel vertragen. Ich würde empfehlen mich mal mit Sven Helbig zusammen zu setzen, teilweise hat er ähnliche Arrangements zusammen mit den PET SHOP BOYS, bei deren Neuvertonung des Stummfilms Panzerkreuzer Potemkin komponiert. Bei Deinem Werk würde ich sogar ein großen Chor mit sphärischen Gesang dazu arrangieren. Um mich gerne zu wiederholen, Dein Werk ist große Klasse!

Wow, klingt stellenweise auch nach der Sequenzpassage aus BWV 542. Herrlich! Richtige Musik, das geht noch!! Sogar mit den "Verstimmungen". Orchestervariante der Wendeltreppe. Jetzt hab ichs.

It is something of a pity that the recording quality isn't up to the power of the organ - though I dare say my speakers aren't helping. Still, wonderful playing, a fabulous organ and Reger at his very best and most intense. Now, where's that fugue...

Great to see and hear that there are organists of the younger generation who are willing yo put much time and effort in studying Max Regers great organ works. Keep up the good work!
