Reminds me of the Aoe2 drama with the Finnish team players using a 'cube mod'. It replaces all the textures and models with GIANT primary coloured cubes instead of the normal trees, rocks, bushes, resources, fish etc. Looks hilarious for the most minor of visual ui advantages.

That self D on the mex to try and deal more damage by Contra was masterful, though I'm not sure if the explosion did end up damaging XFactors com, just the fact he had APM and brain power to think of that in the moment was awesome!

Sashko poped Shoty's com the same frame as Shoty killed the LLT. LLT explosion damage killed sashkorin, but explo damage is applied with a small delay so he died second :D

Strange game in term of strategy. In lopatkas situation the only thing that would have make sense with t2 it's up his eco as sun as possible. On the other hand ZLO theoretical should try to finish him asap when he sees her transitioned, making Bombers to shut down e or going t2 himself. But both did choices that i don't understand

second time i hear about E stalling while going t2... it is kinda weird to hear. does not really matter that he is stalling E while going t2 you can see that his metal bank is in fact going down as he is stalling E so that is a healthy situation t2 does not actually cost that much E, maybe some t2 units do but it is just t2 is fast to make, so it drains stuff faster AND power storage is usually smaller compared to metal storage, so if you have stored metal it will be harder to spend caues you will burn trough your E fast and spend metal fast too, but then you stall E and if you are still spending metal it is fine and healthy eco imho

t2 is fast to build in a sense that it drains resources fast, and you have like 2000 metal sotrage and 2000 power storage, and ofc if you had 1000 metal and you wanna spend it quickly you gonna stall energy cause to spend 1000 metal you usually need more than 1000 energy

Contra is really ipressive. he has maybe the best early raiding game with decent expanding followed. Plus some trademark moves like gunship com snipe. Only flaw is that he throws sometimes games that he already won.

Yeah his aggression is awesome to watch, he's great at pinning opponents in their base with all the pressure. But that aggression does feel like a double edged sword sometimes. I think he's "lost" more won games than anyone else in season 3. But that's also part of his playstyle and it makes for great watching

I said it last pro league and I said it again. Banning map leads to seeing most times the same maps over and over. Hope barcast will rethought this again. With that kind of selection the inly way to get water maps in is getting at least 3 water maps in the pool

I think this ban/pick is a bit better than previous seasons, but it might be nice to have no bans/picks, and just a straight map pool like they do in some other RTS.

Great video as always, I like the way you explain things in simple terms. As a beginner, the first 10 minutes or so of ATG is overwhelming. I haven't found an efficient way to micro manage the front, while expanding the back yet. Maybe I need to learn a few more shortcuts. Usually the moment I move my eyes to the back I get attacked :D One other thing I didn't manage to do is, if I create long queues on the com for instance, then I get attacked and use the com to attack back, I lose the queue (so I have to remember what I did and re-queue it). Also, is there an effective way for having T1 constructors assist the T2 ones, other than manually?

I would say apply the same commander que logic to your macro. Give base cons a long queue. if your home lab is on repeat make sure cons are in the queue.

Once the fusion is up he can reclaim all the basic solars and adv solars but it’s a bit premature imo You would only go fusion before upgrades mexes if you are E stalling

like im watching the video and i see one big problem: there are a lot of people in vc. to solve this problem u can do one ideal thing the point is if u're talking about something and then u stop talking u just tell something like: "barcast what do you think about this map", "can u tell something about this rule/moment" for example and with other guys in vc the same

Yeah, it's difficult to coordinate with 5 people in VC, and we wanted to get this done as soon as possible. But for future iterations we can hopefully make it smoother

US won, yes. Tournament games need a delay to ensure fair play, when I ended the stream I accidentally discarded the delay and ended early. I had just spent 12 hours casting the Alpha Cup

@volshok : I love the series and the commentray, but the OCD on the zoom is really infuriating, I get dizzy and sick watching it. Please just pause for more than half a second when you have gone somewhere, if you want to show us something then give us a chance to actually see it, and the constant zoom out a little zoom in a little is giving me a headache :( I think I am going to grab the replays and specatate the rest myself with just the audio from the cast.
