Funny thing about this movie is I remember seeing it on TV when I was very young and I still had some random imagery from it in my memory banks as I grew up. As an adult I started thinking it was just a fever dream , then I saw that MST3K episode and was blown away to find out that, no , I did not make up that film in my head and that it truly existed 😂

Another fun watch. In the 70s I worked at a place called POGO Family Fun Center. It was basically miniature golf on pool tables. Also had 2 foosball tables and (maybe) 4 pinball machines. The foosball tables made all the money. A few months after opening I arrived at work to find a “closed” sign on the locked front door. I had to hunt down the manage in another town to get my final paycheck. Ahh, the fun times.

That's amazing. I'm assuming there's little to no record at all of this place? Where was it?
@Finc57Ай бұрын
@@ians-ideas It was downtown Richland, WA. Right next door to a Radio Shack. I can't find anything about it online, of course, since this was the mid-1900s when mobile phones were just a dream and gas was $0.32 a gallon. I haven't been back to that area in over a decade, so I don't know if that building still exists.

Nice vid! I've seen some of those DVDs before but stupidly never bought one. My loss. My wife and I did however attend the live musical production of Phantom of the Opera. Well, not THAT Phantom of the Opera with the big budget and songs like "Music of the Night." It definitely wasn't Broadway class, but it wasn't too bad. Now I wonder if The Asylum people had anything to do with it.

Arcades like that were where you could go lose yourself in gaming while still having an in-person social life. They didn't copy themselves. It was extremely common in the early days for the mountain men and frontiersmen to talk tall tales very loudly about themselves as they rode or met others. They were always wildly exaggerated or plain not true. They would talk or yell these self proclaimed tall tales as they rode the trail in hopes the natives would think they were crazy and leave them alone. Most natives believed you could catch the crazy. Hence wilder the proclaimed story the better. I just ran across your video. Pretty cool channel. 👊
