This film is UNBELIEVABLE. But it's no Empire Strikes Back. The Empire Strikes Back was a seismic earthquake that shattered more than the film industry, it was the witnessing of what a part 2 could be before sequels were a thing. You can't passover the fact that The Empire Strikes back was the first of its kind, with nothing before it. It became a WORLDWIDE cultural shock of a movie. However, that doesn't take away that Dune Part Two is jawdroppingly good.

Despite the apocalyptic circumstances, the love story makes the movie. It's one of the most beautiful tragedies/love stories I've seen in film. Whenever I consider Sarah and Kyle, I could make myself cry - especially that picture of Sarah, how she's thinking of him at that moment. There I go...

He is the king of “leaving screen savers on while doing the laundry “ - style filmmaking. So long as his unbearable dialogue is on mute, story, context and characterization matters little ( again, while doing laundry or watching paint dry ) his films are fantastic. Entertained by the PG-13 versions of Rebel Moon, personally. Particularly liked the score of the second movie. Let’s see what the differences with the R-rated alternate cuts are going to be.
He is the king of “leaving screen savers on while doing the laundry “ - style filmmaking. So long as his unbearable dialogue is on mute, story, context and characterization matters little ( again, while doing laundry or watching paint dry ) his films are fantastic. This has become a legit manner & context in which to appreciate his self proclaimed ‘vision’.
The guy is a fraud. That slo mo terribly written crap is yet ANOTHER rotten movie from Zack. How is he still getting funding??? Hasn't made a good Movie since 2009!!! Can only imagine that over 15 years ago, the Movie companies had tighter reins on him. The more freedom he's gained the worst the end product. Oh wait, his Director cuts will fix it eh Zack....yeah right. Sucker Punch = crap, Zack 'it needs an special directors cut', no it doesn't, its crap. Man of Steel = crap, the worst Superman Movie ever and I'm including Superman 4 The Quest for Peace in that, at least in Supes 4, Chris Reeves still smashed the character. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice = the less said about this abomination the better. Justice League = An unmitigated mess that later needed fans to revolt for a better version. Zack Snyder's Justice League = Still shite just slightly less shite than the previous shite. Army of the Dead = How do you ruin such a lay up...Zombies in Las Vegas + Bank heist...Zack did. Rebel Moon 1 + 2 = So bad that even Disney Star Wars went 'We do dogcrap but this is next level animal diarrhea' and Disney were right. Netflix STOP funding him. He needs his ego checked. These Movies are awful.
