  The court is green, the ball is green, Serena's dress is green. Grainy footage, no commentary, no score, can only understand very little of what the refree says, can't see the ball due to aforementioned reasons. What I could see was okay And, great job Serena. We were blessed to see the making of THE GOAT!!!

  After their 2005 classic this final was a major letdown. I'm amazed that Maria never found a plan B after she started losing every match to Serena. At the end of the day, it seems her game was too one-dimensional to pose a long-term threat to her.

  So many injuries; reminds me of Krajicek, of whom Agassi said that Richard only had to look at the tennis court to get injured. This happened to Milos, in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, he had to withdraw late in the tournaments. And just last year, in 2023, after 2 year out of action, during warm up before Wimbledon, he remarkably won his first match against a high seed with no match play whatsoever and immediately had to retire the next match. I also remembered Joachim Johansson, 6’6” powerhouse with a phenomenal serve whose career ended in 2005 after sustaining an elbow injury. It’s an unforgiving sport. Milos had his chance to win Wimbledon against Murray in 2016 but he came out lack luster.

  Serena is envy over maria because she beat her in wimbledon 2004. Maria is very professional player thats why many people like her n very humble. Serena smash the racket many times when not in favor on her. Maria didnt do that when lose a game. Even when she retired many people around the world still admired her. Serena thinking maria cannot beat her but she was surprise maria beat her in 2 sets. Thats the beginning of her jelousy againts maria. The most important is maria beat her 2 times n thats the beginning of popularity of sharapova in the world of tennis up to now shes very popular with five grand slam champion n very humble women from nothing to richest

  Serena was not to be played with this match. I remember watching this on ESPN, and when the cameras showed her coming out the locker room, I thought to myself that Serena is going to put on a show! And she did.

  azz non sapevo che maldini giocasse anche a tennis, qualcuno che lo conosce sa dirmi quanto puo' valere piu' o meno come classifica? Su tennistalker non ci sono risultati, sono curioso di sapere che livello aveva, a vederlo qui non sembra assolutamente a livello di challenger, sembra tipo un 4.1

  Gli hanno dato la Wild card per partecipare al Challenger di Milano, poi ovvio che il suo livello è abbastanza basso, era una cosa fatta tanto per…un po’ come i KZreadr/personaggi televisivi che vanno a giocare la Champions league con le squadre di San Marino
