    I really enjoyed watching it, maybe they make one about australian cattle dog or kelpies, or a sequel. ❤

    Why on earth was he yanking that young pup around until it yelped? At such a young age they should be trained with rewards instead of pain. That's how I've always started foundation training with my hunting dogs. They may need some mild corrections when they're older, but such harsh corrections on a young pup that has no idea what it's doing wrong is just cruel in my eyes.

    Ew, what a shitty human that can't train a puppy without causing it pain.

    After 12 years together my beloved huntaway dog George past away last year. He is farm dog but I live in the city,so we run 7 km everyday, eventually I complete marathon. We missed him everyday. I don’t know how long will take but if I have new dog it will be huntaway.. thanks for the great film!

    Not a fan of his training methods but, watching the dogs work brought back fond memories of the dog l used when l was a landgirl. It quickly became apparent that, when moving sheep, only one of us knew what they were doing and that it wasn't me. We came to an agreement that Bob would do what needed doing and l would shout orders that he would pretend to obey. Worked a treat.

    Probably my favourite episode so far! How many hours/days/weeks did it take for you to get these beautiful shots? And how long did you observe the crocodiles to be able to anticipate their behaviour?

  • @varunalagarfilms7562
    @varunalagarfilms75623 жыл бұрын

    Thank you very much! Haha it was a few months of shooting altogether. But the shots themselves took a few hours each day. I observed them for a few months, which helped me find the right angles and distances from the crocodiles and got help from the field experts to learn more about animal behaviour aided by their several years of observation.

    It's so thrilling to watch this, because I've seen so many Gaurs, and ice always been preoccupied with keeping a safe distance, that I never took the time to observe how gentle they are in comfortable surroundings.

    Hiya, I've bought a beautiful puppy. She's now 17weeks old, but because of my age, I really think I've chosen the wrong breed. She is adorable and loving - but I really don't think I can give her all she needs. I'm in my 70s. Any comment???

  • @varunalagarfilms7562
    @varunalagarfilms75623 жыл бұрын

    Hello Jill, thanks for getting in touch. I'm sure she must be very active. I'm not a dog expert but I do know these dogs. They're very active and require a lot of time from their owners. If she's too much for you, you can train her for a few sessions with some dog trainer and learn the commands yourself. Then you can work her and keep her active with plays without you exerting yourself at all. These dogs if not active expect too much from the owners and trust me it's not just you, anyone would find it difficult to handle their needs. I hope this helps and you have a lovely time with her. Cheers.

    @@varunalagarfilms7562 Thank you so much, I was actually at Dog Training when you replied. She's coming on really well. She understands the commands and we act together on this. My dog trainer told me off for lack of confidence in letting her off lead. We've done this three times now over our local park. Alongside Jenny Jack Russell and Cara very small yorkshire terrier. In the main, I call her and she comes to my side. I'm so proud. She just has to now learn, a time for play and time for training LOL. I thank you again for your personal reply, I really needed to hear from an expert. All the best, Jill
