George we gotta have drip down, the politcal ideology we need is drip down, the poor have to pay all the tax, the rich don’t have to pay any tax, could you do a video since I’ve watched you on and off since you started where you talk about drip down and what the first 100 days would look like if the working class people earning less than 30k a year paid all the tax and the rich don’t have to pay any tax

How do you fail all your GCSE’s? Anything other than a U is a pass, if you get an E for example that’s a pass, surely she didn’t get a U in everything? That’s very hard to do and if she did that I’m very impressed since it’s very hard to fail everything

My take on it is that the Loyal Orders do a lot for charity of which the whole community benefits when they make donations. The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Knights of Columbanus and Opus Dei won't allow Protestants to join so I don't see why the Orange Order is seen as uniquely exclusionary in that respect. The Loyal Orders have kept young Protestants out of trouble in rural areas and have given them some kind of focus. I don't even watch the parades but I loathe the way they can be denigrated, some members are just quiet religious people but are unfairly linked to past drunk rioters etc.

It definitely seems odd. There are apparently three unionist parties who work against and actively undermine one another. Dup seems the more hardline one, uup the more middle ground one. Tuv (the newcomer) an offshoot of the older 'Paisley Snr era dup' led by one of his former acolytes, complete with an assortment of ex dup drawn from the same era. As you point out. It would make more sense to merge and create a broad church unionist party encompassing a number of different views and positions rather than three separate ones working against one another and strengthening the hands of opponents .. Perhaps the old legacy stuff remains too vast a Gulf to bridge?.. Alliance (constitutionally neutral) probably encompass a significant number of unionist inclined voters. Their voter share has ballooned over the last number of years. Possibly spurred in part by a malaise at the deadlock constitutional position dominated politics creates when dealing with day to day issues and a desire to see greater good faith universally beneficial works between different types of people. Recent boundary changes in certain constituencies also seem to have strengthened the hand of the bigger nationalist party. Apparently North Belfast / Fermanagh and South Tyrone particularly.

The orange order are always have been and always will be a disgusting, vile order of hatred and division on the island of Ireland . It's makes me sick to my stomach the cost of these aggressive, agitating parades each year it has on the taxpayers, when that money could be used for much , much more important services ie health and education is beyond belief! As for the grants offered to build air polluting bonfires the night before is just completely boggles the mind. Sadly and regrettably I'll never see this done away with in my lifetime and hopefully future generations will come to their senses and look back at it all with great scorn and huge degree of anger

Starmer has no credibility or integrity on Brexit, worked tirelessly for four years to cancel it, telling us we need a second referendum. That's Labour's Orwellian boot stamping down hard on the face of democracy. On the issues, I've outlined, I think this Labour rabble will become unpopular very quickly...the Green Belt concreted to house thousands of illegals, there's talk of in excess of 100,000 coming here as part of a returns policy with the EU...so where will they live?

  • @user-yi6ui6pn4i

Now we are getting some policies, they look to be reckless and foolish. Thousands of prisoners to be released early,...get ready for robberies, rapes, stabbings and murders. Rwanda abolished but the boats will keep coming; the MI5 quango is a long term gamble, no guarantee of success - if at all. Heat pumps and EV's are hugely expensive,...out of the price reach of millions of people.

I think you paint far too a rosy picture! On the economy, we are back at 2010 with a huge deficit of £121B,...£40B less than 14 years ago. Thanks to the Tory Engine Room, growth looks very promising for many years hence. UK set to outperform France, Japan and Germany. But otherwise, there is no ready Magic Money to meet all these spending plans costing mega billions.

KZread comments is not the best place for a nuanced discussion, but I'll try keeping it short! Losers? We've just watched a parade of highly educated individuals being a disaster for the country. It does not seem that a highly educated background necessarily leads to wiser decisions. David Lloyd George did not go to uni. He seemed a decent PM for the demands of WWI. Churchill wasn't bad either. There's something uncomfortable about you speculating on the possibility on your chances of touching Angela Rayner's boobs. I know you were not implying that you had the intention. Anyway, if Angela Rayner saw this vid she would probably say something a lot shorter and more direct. The comment made me think about your views on abortion, too. These various comments you have shared show an imposition onto women's bodies of varying degrees. Whether intentional or not. Women have long been arguing about having access to medical care to meet their own needs and that has included abortion. One pro choice slogan is 'my body my choice'. I think that sums it. The bodily imposition that anti abortion legislation would bring about has some resonance with the comments you made. The reality of having to bear, birth and rear a child is something that many people would struggle to understand. Particularly each individual women's lived experience as they make these decisions and live with the repercussions. That's why i think women are best placed to make those decisions. I know you have an argument that comes from a view of rights for the foetus, I'm just giving the a counter view from the others rights too. But I go back to what you said about her body, I think it shows that anti abortion arguments can also come with additional biases and blind spots that help inform these arguments. Biases based on not just on sex and gender (gender and power not the other issues) but also social, economic, educational (!! -see above) The Trump comparison is so poor I am genuinely a bit disappointed you made it. Otherwise, i like your posts over the years!

@@GeorgeFromIrelandReflections People voted for Le Pen, and at the very end 5 left wing parties got together and gave the vote the finger by joining together to overwrite the vote. Last minute coalitions should be illegal in a working democracy because it goes against the stage that was presented to the public. When people vote to on a platform, for a party to resolver specific problems, then that is the direction that the public wants to go in. To go against this, is anti democratic.
