    Research is key , I have been playing for just under a year. I picked a decent guitar and an amp that has pre-sets but i can also load sounds into the amp. The Amp is a Mustang lt25 and the app fender Tone works great with it.

    I've bought your book rock licks. It's very good and it's helping me a lot. It would be great if it would have the audio examples separated from the videos. Anyway, congratulations for your work and I hope you are doing fine. I wish you all the best and I hope you come back to KZread. Best

    REALLY like how you went to that half-time version of the first lick. That's a nice way to let me practice it slowly at first but still get the right timing. Well done.

    The thing about the infamous looping lick first 3 notes E12 B15-p-12 is barring 12th fret with index finger to maximize economy (pick E once, hammer B15, pulloff to B12 w/index already barring it) instead of switching individually from E to B for the pulloff, any thoughts?

  • @JamesShipwayGuitar
    @JamesShipwayGuitar5 ай бұрын

    Could work for some people I guess. I've found the barre can be harder to control string bleed/clarity. ...but sure, other way could work I agree. Cheers!

    dear LORD THANK YOU SO MUCH. I've watched like 10 gazillion videos, and ask probably 15 different Reddit community. But all of them either doesn't get to the point, or doesn't explain them it at all, or just talks about the formula and say "well you just gotta remember it" or explain it saying extremely complicate shit like "stacking thirds interval and m3 M3 m3+m3 blah blah blah" DEAR LORD How come you're the only person across the whole wide internet who can explain it in a brief, short, easy to explain logical way like that? Good Lord bless you Happy Chrismas & Happy New Year kind sirr
