GodReports

Hello, and welcome to God Reports! In the psalms, David writes: “PROCLAIM AMONG THE NATIONS WHAT HE HAS DONE.” On the God Reports website, we exalt His name throughout the world. In 2020, there were more than two million views of our stories from over 200 countries. God Reports supports and encourages Christian missions by sharing stories and testimonies from the mission field - in written and video form, along with stories of general interest and concern to our audience. We love stories that describe the powerful ways God is at work throughout the world, in many ways a continuation of the book of Acts!

    I I'm a bit confused she said that Lonnie came from a gay lifestyle but he said in his own book that he never lived that lifestyle. She also stated that Lions Gate reached out to her before the film was released but then stated that her stepdaughter saw the film and that's how she came to the understanding of it. So something seems inconsistent. Not that it really matters. I don't want to discredit her testimony, but I think the movies overall arching message is the most important one and I think it's the way God sees the story. Did they tell all the nitty-gritty details about you know some of the things she's mentioning, no but at the end of the day did Lonnie go down to that Calvary Chapel yes did Lonnie have a platform that they let him have, yes. Did hundreds and thousands of people come to know the Lord yes, did Greg Lori's Ministry get launched from his connection to calvary and Lonnie, yes. Did 100 and thousands of lives come to know Jesus since Greg's ministry, yes. I think that's how God sees the story. We could get hung up with the little nitty-gritty details I don't think they have time in 2 hours to go over all of that, it wasn't a film that was totally based about the life and story of Lonnie, It was trying to show the greater picture of the Jesus Revolution and the three men that were foundational in that movement. Were they the only people who started the Jesus revolution, no but I think what they're trying to show is they were pivotal in that movement. And I don't think God's looking at the little details I think he's paying attention to the bigger picture. And I think they gave Lonnie a lot of credit credit for that for that and they also showed how they did cast him off. It is a movie after all. And people want to see it tied up in a neat bow Hollywood tends to do this with a lot of true life stories they're not always 100% accurate. Again I think the greater picture was presented pretty clear and that's what at the end of the day is the true message. As a result of these imperfect men's lives many people came to know the Lord Jesus Christ. In fact God even used the film to bring her stepdaughter back to her. You can see the cup as half empty or as half full, either way God uses the cup to bring glory to his name. I would hope at 75 as a believer, she'd come to the knowledge of understanding forgiveness as it seems like there's still some scars that need to be healed

    A few folks here are being rude about Pat Boone, that he’s comparing himself to Elvis and he became a has-been. Neither is in the least true. If you consider yourself a Elvis fan, try to be broad minded as he was. Elvis would not like Pat being slagged off - he loved his music and loved him as a person. Pat is Elvis’ alter ego, practically.

    So glad to here this, I lived in that time, went to Chucks church, never met Mr Frisbee, but what I do know is that Calvary Chapel, did wrong here, they tried to make it like the harvest crusades' were the Jesus Revaluation, they stole the plot and turned it into there thing. I felt something wrong watching, then realized, Calvary removed Holy Spirit from that Movement and took it over and actually stopped it, turned it into Hell and Fear tackticks to get people saved, and don't you smoke. Now, as Connie says, we think we know, so that is my look at it. The Director was overwhelmed and I bet his vision was removed and it became a Calvary Chapel movie, we all know this and it's dis heartning

  • @vickylong3229

    But Elvis told his step-brother Billy Stanley in his book "The Faith Of Elvis" that Elvis wanted to know if he had prayed to God and asked for forgiveness for his sins? Elvis said, he had been praying for forgiveness for his sins and he knew womanizing was wrong and had been asking God to give him the strength to stop. Billy said, this was two days before Elvis passed away. Pat Boone put a book out called "If" and I read it and some information he gave on Elvis was not quit correct. I think he is very old and his memory is probably a little fuzzy. I love Pat Boone and he has served God the way he wanted to and I watched him on many Christian shows. He is a good man, but so was Elvis. Elvis didn't go to church and I don't believe he could have. Pat Boone didn't have the charisma that Elvis had. But I have wondered why he didn't have a minister come to Graceland every Sunday. He had enough people to make a church. That Larry Geller, was a bad influence, and took him away from his good teaching, but they said he watched Rex Humbard religiously every Sunday and Rev. Rex Humbard went to Las Vegas and prayed with Elvis and he said, Elvis quoted scripture after scripture. So even though Elvis read about other religions, he never left his first love. Listen to Elvis sing "How Great Thou Art." He loved God with all his heart and Jesus was his savior."

    He died of heart failure. And his heart failure was due mostly to a tremendous amount of narcotics in his system- enough to kill several people. He also had an enlarged heart [made worse by the drugs) a twisted and impacted colon(probably due to a paralyzed colon because of the drugs also) and other medical conditions made worse by the drugs.

  • @ChristineKingston-rz4ie
    @ChristineKingston-rz4ieАй бұрын

    No disrespect intended but I am always compelled to throw drugs as the reason for Elvis’ death in to question. He had inherited a myriad of physical maladies due to the marriage of his great grandparents who were first cousins. As a young man, most was manageable but neighbors who remember the Presley family when Elvis was young speak of a life long battle with constipation that showed reason during his autopsy as a twisted, mega colon. As well, young Elvis had a sleep disorder that caused sleepless nights which must have been hell for his mother. Elvis had emphysema though he was never a heavy smoker. The claim is made that his drug use compromised these systems yet some ailments were on record for him as a youth. The mafia witnessed his use of drugs but did they ever truly understand why he needed them. It would seem that not one of them realized the way in which he would have been suffering regardless of the reason and how do we all explain how he suffered through that. May I suggest a book called Destined to Die Young by Sally Hoedel; most enlightening!

    Elvis is still ALIVE !! That was NOT Elvis in that casket ! It was a Wax Dummy !That is what was in the 900 lb Copper Casket along with a battery powered portable cooling unit to keep the Wax from melting. Everyone that observed the '' body '' in the coffin noticed that the forehead had '' beads of moisture ''.Gene Smith, Elvis's 1st cousin, said that the Sideburns had been glued on and kept coming loose! Gene also stated that one could feel the ''chilled air'' all around the casket that was coming from a cooling unit within the coffin.When Gene asked Vernon where Elvis was , Vernon replied , '' He's safe, Don't worry ,He's Upstairs resting. We had to put something on display for the fans ! '' ELVIS did NOT Die on August 16, 1977 ! NO ONE is actually buried there at the Meditation Garden in back of the Mansion. Only the top layer of sod was removed for the placement of the Bronze Memorial plaques ! Those are just there for the Fans and the Tourists. All of Elvis' family members that have done passed on are buried somewhere else in a undisclosed Private Cemetery and ELVIS IS Very Much STILL ALIVE ! He never really stopped making his music ! He has been recording and making music all this time. He just can't release any of his songs using his real name anymore because of EPE, Inc. He has been using different alias ever since. Elvis Aron Presley is sometimes Jon Burrows and several other various ''alias''. He staged and faked his death with the help and knowledge of Col. Tom Parker, Dr. '' Nick '' , Joe Esposito , and the FBI by doing a '' Body Swap '' with a Terminal Bone Cancer patient Roscoe Scott Holloway of Germantown, TN of whom Dr. Nichopolous had located. After some minor cosmetic surgery they made Roscoe Scott Holloway look like Elvis, a ''double'' which fooled the Paramedics , the hospital personnel and most family members. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, was a U.S. Special Federal Agent that worked undercover in various '' sting operations '' against known members of the SDS Weathermen Underground Terrorist Group. The SDS Weathermen Underground Terrorist Group was responsible for numerous multiple bombings of Police Departments, Federal and State Court Houses and other public buildings during the 1960's and 1970's. Charles William ''Bill'' Ayers was the SDS Leader of the Weathermen Terrorist Group, along with his cohort Bernardine Rae Dohrn. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, the name he used working for the DEA and later for the FBI as a Special Federal Agent, was appointed by the former late President Richard M. Nixon and Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, worked as a Federal Agent from December 1970 until his official retirement in December 2004. In September 1978 , Elvis, aka Federal Agent Jon Burrows was the Government's '' Secret Witness '' in '' Operation Fountain Pen '' and He testified in Federal Court against a well known member of the Mafia Organized Crime Syndicate, a one Fredrick Peter Pro of the '' Fraternity '' In September 1977, Elvis, aka Federal Agent Jon Burrows, entered the Federal Witness Protection program where he stayed until July 1978.Then Agent Jon Burrows, aka Elvis, returned to Washington D.C. where he worked for the DEA and then later for the FBI Counter Intelligence Branch until his official Retirement in December 2004, and ending 34 years of dedicated Federal Service. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows was in the Federal Witness Protection program because of past threats made by members of the SDS Weathermen Underground Terrorist Group, Bill Ayers the Black Panthers and past threats by certain key members of the Mafia Organized Crime Syndicate, of which Agent Burrows, aka Elvis took part in various undercover '' sting operations '' to indict and bring them to Justice. All these facts are told in a documentary interview that Elvis aka Jon Burrows, gave, recorded and released on a DVD in January 2012. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, also recorded and released a brand new CD of 15 songs in January of 2012. Both have been voice printed and authenticated 100 % as the voice of Elvis Aron Presley by Computer Voice Analysts Technicians. Besides being a U.S. Federal Agent with the DEA and then later with the FBI, as appointed by the late former POTUS Richard M. Nixon on December 21, 1970, Elvis was also a Bonded, Certified & Trained Deputy Sheriff with the Shelby County Sheriff's Dept. Memphis,Tn, since September 23, 1964 and Chief Deputy since October 10, 1970 with Shelby County Sheriff's Dept .Elvis was also a Reserve Police Captain in the Memphis PD , a Reserve Police Captain with Denver PD and a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the LA County Sheriff's Dept. He was nominated as One of the Top 10 Young Men in America by the American Jaycees on January 16, 1971, not for his work as a Entertainer, but for his dedication and work in Law Enforcement !! A Fulton County Deputy Sheriff , GA , was on location at a very well known Wax Museum in Atlanta, Georgia on the week they were closing. Vernon Presley and a couple of the guys that work for Elvis came in and bought a lifelike life sized wax figure of Elvis, They made the purchase and on the way out the door, Vernon Presley turned to the guy at the museum counter and said, " Just Wait 'til you guys see what we're going to do with this " ! AND this Is the TRUTH as told by Elvis himself !!! And for ALL of You non-believers, This is NOT BS ! It's the documented Truth 100 %
