Languages are disappearing all over the world and it's essential we do our best to maintain them (not sure Geordie counts mind 🤣) Catalan was banned under Franco rule so I try and speak it rather than Spanish, the locals love it! Good to see the windmaster in use and working well by the looks of it. I'm commenting halfway through the video as I always forget what I was going to say. I'll probably comment again once I've finished. The gap in the fence v the style was funny 🤣 Cheers!

@@whatsnottohike thanks for watching Martin we might give the decathlon meals a go as there is a shop near us 👍 the weather was mixed but it was a brilliant camp ATB mate 👍
@@Twin_Peaks_Outdoors careful going to decathlon. Its like IKEA. You go in for one thing, next thing you know you've bought half the shop! 🙂
@@whatsnottohike that’s always a good thing 🤣🤣

@@Hikingviking69 Cheers Warren, thanks for watching we were contemplating doing Cader Idris on this camp as we were mulling it over on the drive up , but we went up Moel Cynhorion instead. You have defo picked a great mountain for your first wild camp it’s beautiful up there, good luck and hope your son enjoys it 👍😁
@@Twin_Peaks_Outdoors thanks buddy..love the vids and esp the music with drone footage..maybe see you out there sometime 👍.
Nice video. Wishing you a great upcoming week 😊
@@NorwayHikesTrails Cheers NHT thanks for watching and have a great week 😁👍
What no Herefordshire fire water.!!
@@bernardscott1783 Hi Bernard, we did have some fire waters inside the tent 😂😂😁👍
Hi..which shoe/boot did you wear on the Alpina 1...Great series covering East Switzerland.
@@analogkid6579 Hi and thanks for watching. I Mark used La Sportiva Akasha trail shoes and Simon used Scarpa GTX boots 👍😁
@@analogkid6579 but the Scarpa leather boots I wore are a bit heavy, we are going back next summer and we are both going to be wearing trail shoes as they are lighter 👍
On e question for the boys, am i okay to go camping i feel a bit worried when i go i really love the outdoors and going camping. 🏕️
Of course you are, you will be fine. Once you do it a couple of times all the worries will go 😁👍👌
Pass Llandeilo, when you come to big roundabout go straight through then turn left and that road will take you to Tally lakes 🏕️👍
Cheers Chris 😁👌👍
Another great video, really enjoy, im hoping to go wild camping up to Tally lakes in mid Wales next week never know it might be raining 😂🏕️📸
Cheers Chris, have a great time in Tally Lakes 👍whereabouts is that ? ATB Mark & Simon 😁👍
That was an inspiring watch. Thanks for the time and effort to edit and craft a wonderful youtube
Thank you very much for watching, it was an awesome adventure 👍
Enjoyed that guys, nice spot great sunset and sunrise. Having someone outside the tent is the worse. Out of interest what pack weight do you carry ? cheers.
Cheers mate, fantastic camp spot and we got lucky with the weather 👍 we usually carry between 11-12 kilos in our packs which isn’t too bad , but that’s including a few cans of beer lol 😂, as for the stranger in the night - I really thought it was someone going to move us on as I wasn’t aware of the time as I was half asleep 😴, bit of a shock to the system, I think he was either on the phone talking to someone or he was with someone else and there was two of them 🤷♂️ I don’t know - we’ll never know now lol unless he watches this video 😂😂😂ATB Mark & Simon..
beautiful views
Thanks for watching Raymond 👍 it’s a beautiful place for a Wild Camp, it’s perfect. ATB Simon & Mark

Great spot, fantastic views 👍
Thanks for watching Spencer, it’s a stunning camp spot with awesome views of Eryri 👍💪🏻 all the best Simon & Mark
Used to go down the Devils with you guys a few years ago. Randomly came across your wild camping videos a few years ago when I was watching other similar ones! Great camps and content 👍🏼
Thanks for watching Karen much appreciated 👍 yeah we stopped going to the Devils 5 years ago, just came to a point where we weren’t enjoying it anymore, Mark goes to the odd game though. Camping and hiking is our focus now 😀 we hope you enjoy our future videos, take care Simon & Mark
Stunning views, and to the untrained eye could pass for the Alps. Sunset and sunrise were amazing unlike mine 😏 Strange people walking about in the night, maybe they were poaching? You are lucky they didn't walk off with your GoPro. P.S you don't have to climb the style if it's easier to walk around 🤭😂😂😂 See you both soon atb Taff 🤠👊👊
Cheers Taff, stunning area up there 😁👍 the walking the stile was just a bit of fun for the camera lol 😂😂 as for the GoPro that’s the first thing I looked for when I got out of the tent and thankfully it was still there doing its thing 🙏see you soon mate 👊
Beautiful, boys! That timelapse of the torches heading up Snowdon was awesome.
Thank you Ryan, glad you enjoyed it 😁👍, I aimed the camera toward Snowdon just for a nightlapse really and used Snowdon as a focal point, I didn’t realise there would be all those head torches , turned out pretty good 😁👍
Cracking video fellas! I was up those hills, just for a day hike, in February. I did think the summit of Moel Eilio looked like a good spot for a camp. Seemed ideal..... well apart from people tripping over guy lines 😅
Thanks for watching Graham 👍 it’s a perfect camp spot, just lock your tent 🤣 it was a shock being woken in the middle of the night but it ended well 👍 ATB Simon & Mark
Great hike and views. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks Buddy, much appreciated ATB Mark & Simon 👌👍
Top video boys. You can see that chaps head torch coming up the hill on the right starting at 22:00 😂 then you can see it right by your tent at 22:09😮 i was wondering if that was someone hiking up 😅
Cheers mate, that’s what we thought you can defo see his headlamp 😂😂 I wasn’t expecting that at that time of the morning, it was as if he was talking to someone on a phone when he went past. It was a bit scary as I was practically asleep lol 😂
Thanks for watching the video mate, yep you are 100 % correct that definitely was the guy who walked past the tent 🤣on the Timelapse. Great camp spot and one we will return to 👍 ATB Simon & Mark
Sorry pal but I noticed you replied to my comments on another KZread channel earlier, it’s a long story but we fell out over a year ago and he is constantly having under hand digs against us on his channel and other peoples channels and also trolling us, there is no need for it and we’ve had enough. We just have to ignore it in the future, it’s just not true 🙁
You guys find the most amazing camp spots with awesome views, love the watch 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting on the video Neil we always love your comments and watching our videos and we got a sunset and sunrise for a change which was very welcome. Take care Neil. Simon & Mark
What a pitch fellas! The fitness will come back quick smart if you keep at it 😊 Stay safe and well, Adge
Thanks for watching Adge we love you commenting and watching our videos 👍 yep we need some more match fitness on the hills, plenty more to come through the summer 👍 all the best mate 👍

Great video......and great views! Which tents did you use?
Hi illtud thanks for watching the video, the 2 tents are both MSR access 1’s, the green one is the first edition and marks orange one is the newer model 👍 take care, Simon & Mark

The effort gone into this video shows 👏👏 that night lapse with that music gave me goosies 😍😍😍 absolutely breath taking. So glad you finally got the epic sunset and sunrise you wanted. This video has made me determined to go back 👌 mark going over that ladder and simon walking straight through was classic 😂 someone tripping over my guyline would freak me out too 😂 brilliant video guys
Thanks for watching Charlene we love your comments and supporting our channel, your comments make doing videos all worthwhile. The style walk past clip was funny 🤣 that was a great camp spot and not a massive walk to get to it and with awesome views. Catch you soon Charlene 👍👍
Absolutely breathtaking lads, brilliant 🍺🍺👍
Thanks for watching Bernard we love that you watch our videos and your very kind comments, take care, Simon & Mark
Lovely that fellas, what a view! 100% you should be using the Welsh name!
Thanks for watching Martin, I think snowdonia now being called Eryri is a good thing as most of the hills and mountains in Wales have Welsh names. I think the Welsh language is fascinating and definitely give us our identity 👍 yeah the style ladder clip was funny 🤣 we do try a bit of humour now and again lol. And the windmaster stove is a winner from us as we both have them now 👍 take care Martin and all the best.
First 🙂
❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
That's a fantastic spot you had there mate. 👌 I'm hopefully getting out one day this week and this place looks a cracker. I've not hiked the Cadair Fawr trig yet, so two birds one stone. 😊 Do you mind if I ask where abouts you parked mate? 👍
Thanks I plan to use this at a festival, 5 days cooking once or maybe twice a day Excited to see how it does
Thanks for watching David, it’s a good bit of kit, glad you chose it 👍
Another great video from Twin peak nice and peaceful, i went camping on Sunday night down at falls bay gower in Roshilly with my OEX phoxx 11 v2 tent. Have you ever done beach camping before 🏕️
Hi Chris thanks for watching the video and for your nice comments. We have thought about doing beach camping and might give it a go in the future. The Gower is a lovely place we have been there a few times. I think the next video will be out in a few weeks as we are planning another trip to Snowdonia. ATB Simon
