Are you hiding inside this time so the lighting doesn’t get you? Lol
@@kiwilad4216 It was a close call. But who would've thought there were 4,215 other kiwilads! 🤷
@@TheBrettWilson And there's a million of us just like me Who look like me; who just don't give a stuff like me Who dress like me; walk, talk and act like me It just might be the next best thing but not quite me!

Love the arrangement. What's your process on choosing keys / capo positions?
@Stuedwardsguitar Thanks mate. Usually just whatever sounds good. Open keys like G, D and C allow for open strings. Without capo can sometimes sound dull 👍
@@TheBrettWilson Great. Love the arrangements and interpretations.

Атмосферно.... скоро достроюсь и тоже буду брынчать у костра
Thank you! Let me know when you've finished. I'll check it out!
My understanding is Robin played the Bat Flute many times.
🤣 Freakin hilarious!
LOL, brilliant, thanks for uploading. my search is now over :) Although it seems funny to be hearing it in anything apart from a crummy stereo in a Toyota Corolla.
Enjoy the nostalgia!
This was before Scott's time with the band. The bass player on the recording was session legend Rob Winch.
Scott must've joined in time for the artwork 🤔
@@TheBrettWilson That's exactly what happened :)
Great track!
It's a banger!
Love the "Ooh Wee" part!
A little reward for the dedicated. Cheers!
30 years? Holy heck. There's a couple of guys at my work who haven't quite hit 20 yet. Huge Nirvana fans! Tells you something about the band, right? Might show them this video...
Kurt was an incredible writer [insert Nirvana happy face logo]
Hello Brett. Nicely done, love "the Boss". Still remember you impersonating him counting into a song. I've been feeling a bit down about the whole AI thing taking over creativity. Feels like 1984 is closer than ever (and I don't mean the year). Was reminiscing about the good old Vision College days and how music seemed like it was the whole world back then. It made me wonder what your take on the whole AI thing would be. P.S. Please do Dance Me to the End of Love by LC fingerstyle. - Adam (the metalhead with the short attention span).
Adamski! Nice to hear from you. Thank you, sir. The capabilities of AI is kinda scary but history tells me we're gonna be OK despite advances in technology. People freaked out when the synthesizer came around, threatening an end to orchestras (we still have orchestras). Sampling in the '80s was supposedly the end of musicianship (we still have musicians). Autotune meant that we no longer need to be able to sing to be great (we still have great singers). It will be interesting to see how art adjusts, similar to how the camera inspired artists to move away from realism (can't compete with a camera) to the likes of impressionism, cubism, surrealism etc (try that, useless Canon!) Keep creating Adam. If there's one person I know who thinks outside the box, it's you. You're unique. Embrace it. Kia ora. 👍
@@TheBrettWilson Great to hear from you Brett, and thanks for your comment under my AI rant video. I made a long reply to it, sorry, but it actually helped me reassess things and I felt a lot better after what you wrote. I thought you'd probably do that, you have a bit of a knack for it! I suppose what really scares me about AI is that it isn't just coming after one creative field like synthesizers and cameras, or the printing press, or so on. It's coming for them all at once. Music, art, animation, writing, even videography... it's almost unprecedented. But like you commented, a skill becoming less specialised doesn't mean we should just give up, let it kill our passions, and throw our tools away. To intentionally misquote Jeff Goldblum said: "Art finds a way". Thanks again, keep uploading your music, keeping an eye (ear) out!
@Ceolskog-Folk-Metal-Hiking Yeah, I dunno man... I think we'll be OK. It is unprecedented, but we can't live in fear. Rage against the machines, Adam! Fear not, for He is with you
Wonderful playing!
Thank you 🙏 Means a lot coming from a fellow player!
Whoever made this..From the bottom of my ❤ THANK YOU, you have really cheered me up..XXXXXXX
Wow! Thanks so much! Pleased I could help 😁
Love this song, have been trying to find it for years. I remember the music video. Did it chart in New Zealand?
After going through the NZ Singles Chart for 1992, there is no evidence of it charting. Vocalist Belinda Bradley more recently featured on Diamond Field's album (AKA Andrew White who did the artwork for The Spirals cassette cover). kzread.info/dash/bejne/p5uNk7Fvk6jQiLw.html She also sings in Selon Recliner kzread.info/dash/bejne/mplh2blxhKvgqbA.html
@@TheBrettWilson I often can't remember if songs were hits or not as I used to tape my favourites music videos from TV onto VHS. So 30 years later it is a bit hazy if they played it a lot on TV, or did I just watch the VHS recording I made many times. 😅 Thanks so much for the upload, it took me 15 years to track this down,,,,,but I could still remember it very well.
@@newzealandconspiracyloons No worries! Sounds like you've got some transferring to do... VHS -> KZread. 😏 Join the nostalgia gang!

Good job 😁🤘Ironically, grunge suits them. I'd love to do a Marie vid set to Sonic Youth. She marches to her own beat, lets people be, never judges anyone. She legit rocks

Very Nice! I was never a Lorde fan myself, but that who,e album is actually pretty amazing. I love your arrangement!
Thanks Mike! I'm not fanatical either, but this is certainly my favourite song of hers. NZ celebrates Kiwi music in the month of May so this is my contribution 👍
Beautiful .😹😹😹😹
Thanks!
Awesome stuff this
This is just.Perfect. The capo on the 4th position makes it more smooth, eering. Perfect.
Thank you, Lucas! Much appreciated. Did you catch Kurt's face in the curtains?
@@TheBrettWilson Not on my first watch, just after you commented. I was focused on the playing trying to figure to transpose the tabs

Thanks Mike! Shouldn't you be watching the Super Bowl?? Go 49ers!!
I so admire the work you put into syncing mouth shapes and matching the BPM of the headbanging. This is probably the best mash-up I've seen since "death metal is kawaii ☜゚ヮ゚☜". The unrest in the crowd, and the tantrum choreography... disco is born anew.
Thank you so much for your comment! This was fun putting together. 🙏
Alright,that's fun❤
