Is absorb life better than PoM on Azir or is it just personal preference?

Think absorb life + fleet combo is pretty insane in like 99% of games. Pom only has impact in the first 5 minutes and in some late fights where you get mana refund. You can make an argument for both but I think absorb life + fleet is just too crazy to give up

One question: wouldn't have been good to rush the antiheal item (I dont know how it is called in english, the 800gold item from the morello) against Mundo? Even for the lane And wouldnt coup de grace be better? Because it is easy for you to poke him under midlife, but harder to kill him because he uses his ult when he is low (also doran shield and second wind are better when he is low)

Anti heal is bad on azir, so really try to avoid buying it if possible, I still think cut down is too broken to give up tbh. Glad you enjoy the videos boss

@Gord64 one azir is a lot more single target then you would think, so you aren't applying it on everyone most of the time, two, azir has no space for luxury items in his build, if you go morello, you have to give up zhonya, Raba, or void which just is almost never worth it

Imo mundo indeed Is the worst tank to face But i do think that in top irelia Is the worst matchup you could have, you literally need to play perfect space and wave wise But she can tank four tower shoots at 6 at half hp to dive you( this Is not considering yorick that Is torture, i really dont understand why riot dont let my fucking soldier hit the teemo when I!!! I am blinded, not my soldiers. But god forbids we cant oneshot the ghouls with our soldier even twoshot but you need like four and that Is just xd)

which lane are you asking about? Its very lane dependent if you can give pressure or not, as a lot of melee mids will just leave and roam

That’s true I guess just did that against a fizz he was perma roam but I just freezes and shove took plates he was lvl 4 and I was 7 lol carried hard guess it doesn’t work to well high elo but in my elo works well

@@Thefakerenjoyer Yeah, just in general, Azir is a champ that thrives while shoving the enemy in. You really only want to give prio to setup a gank (very amount of time) or if you actually have to and the enemy cant roam well (Irelia, yasuo).

Its really cheap for the stats it gives and you can always proc the effect, you can deff go it, just the meta is pretty beefy rn in high elo so i would prefer having liandry most of the time

Hwei and viktor are easy to minimize with fleet. Akali is a high elo matchup that is practically unplayable the higher you go. Its why if you watch the matchup in proplay the azir is almost always down like 30 cs at 15 mins

@crazyman7504 Yes, but they can be influenced by a ton of things like the fact that a lot of people can first time it and he's pretty difficult, that's why a lot of champions are considered op like akali yone yasuo etc if they are at like 49% winrate

Hi bro, great video, as always. Do you have any advice for a fellow Azir top player? These last patches have been rough. I have also been playing kinda bad, so no excuses, but in general, the games I have been playing feel like I don’t have the same potential to carry or even stand my ground in the mid-game. That is most likely cuz I am a pigeon, and it is really tempting to 3 man dive the pigeon, but nonetheless, I really don’t know what to do. Recently, I have been playing mid, seeing better results, but I know I am a bad mid and really prefer top

Top lane is brutal since if you make one mistake, you instantly lose lane essentially. You have to survive most matchups until lvl 4, and then start playing aggressive. If you don't poke them out, they will all in you. Your offense is really your defense in top lane. I can't give you the best advice sadly since I don't play azir top since I despise it haha

Hey Reaper. I watch almost every vid of you to get better on Azir. Yesterday I played against a Trist mid. That guy perma w e on me and was able to chunk a lot of hp off me or force me use my e to shield a bit of dmg. So... no mana in lane and had to take bad backs. Mid and bot were always under turret but jg decided to play for a teemo... result? We hard lost all lanes except the teemo. I couldnt even side bc i would get 3 manned or killed by trist. How do you play against this idiot. (Ofc i shuffled her when she w on me but she got away with murder)

Trist is a very item spike reliant champion. Azir loses levels 1-3, you start being able to contest, and you can beat her after first reset until she buys kraken. Reccomend watching the matchup played by two challenger players on domisumreplay

You can go either, but liandry is nice since asol khazix and yone get pretty tanks later on. Also nice vs khazix since linadry shows where they are in stealth

You can go it if you want, but Ryze is actually quite oppressive in lane if you don't have sustain. You won't be able to trade that well against him and will just turn it into a farm fest

Depends on lane, for assassins you generally want to slow push and poke, for mages you generally want to hard shove if possible, at least keep neutral. These are just general rules which aren't very helpful in practice. Look up your matchup you want to learn on domisum replay:azir and try to find a challenger vod and see what they do

At the start of the season, he was by far the best mid in the game imo. After multiple nerfs, I would say he prob sits in the bottom of A tier. Still very good in capable hands, but not insane like he was

Fleet into hard lanes (trist ori lb etc) conq into melee/short range. Nashor rush every game. Mercs if needed if not sorcs. Liandry second standard, if high threat zhonya or banshee good. If all squishy can go shadowflame. I build full damage so Raba or crypt third and fourth
