  The hardest part of inviting a newf into your family is their shorter life span. My first one made it to 13 years which is above average for the breed. My current one is 10 and still a Momma’s boy.

  Our black, Kachina and our landseer Kinikinik always competed to sleep on my wife's side of the bed. If kininkinik got there first, Kachina would go out into the living room and bark ferociously at something outside. Being the big male, Kininkinik would charge out there to see what the trouble was. Meanwhile Kachina would rush into the bedroom and take the place on Martha's side of the bed. The look on his face when he came back in and saw her in the preferred place always made us laugh. He then had to lay on my side of the bed where he at least got a belly rub. Our goofy newfies amused us many times. Good Luck, Rick

  Thanks for 😂. I drive a Chrysler Town & Country for not only my Rupert, Newfoundland, + I dog board, daycare too. Did you look at the Pacifica? I bought an older model T&c as my 1st minivan(yikes, never thought I would own one too!!) Now as a Newfie convert, Rupert was adopted less than a year ago❤ I found his breeder in Ohio & have a deposit on a yet to be born precious Newfie baby!!! Would lovevto chat with you more about this breed as you seen quite experienced ❤

  This is how you should train a puppy. I taught my newfis hand signals at 100 yards, they are very intelligent dogs and love to please. Duke is a lovely pup, best wishes from the U.K.

  the first two looks more fluffy and sort of round in the face and the last one a little sharper there - is there an explanation for that or is it just like we look a little different as people? can you tell if they'll be round or sharp when they are puppies? they are all so adorable
