Great video! It's such a unique work and I'm glad people are still talking about it. I didn't know that Still Alive was actually written for the game. I always assumed it was a pre-existing song that EA licenced. Makes it all the more strange that the song has been removed from the soundtrack on streaming.

I kept trying to get into Mirrors Edge but I could not for the life of me grasp the pattern to properly do all the running and jumping. I dunno if the tutorial was slightly wrong, or if I misunderstood it, or if my computer had something wrong with it or what but I just could never get it. I recall being stuck in some sort of small room where I was meant to jump up to another level and just being stuck there for ages.

my parents refused to tell me my laptops password to keep me from gaming all night so I would open it up in a weird mode it wasn't safe mode I believe but it was a weird command you held down when starting up the computer and it would only let you access files on the device but not launch non-native software (for lack of a better term) and all I could do was play this song and 1 song my dad had happened to download and I would just play those songs for like 2 hours straight as a replacement for playing games
