Such an improvement on the last Rach 3 third movement practice vid 👏🏻🥃
Great effort but if you slow it down to the slowest speed 0.25 you’ll notice a lot of mistakes - only saying this because it will help you not me - if you want to perform this piece well you have to be self critical and analytical- it’s hard to get rid of mistakes once committed to muscle memory- and as this is played so fast you may not even notice the mistakes but they will become apparent later on if not addressed- think of it as an in depth way of checking your own standards - it will enable you to sharpen up what is already an impressive attempt 👍🏻🥃
If U watch some famous pianists they don't play exactly the sheet music. If U just listen there are always more notes in the sheet music, next to the melody what you don't need, u never will play this fast and comfortable if U believe in teachers dogmas to play all the notes, and just that. Artistry starts when u are dare to leave it, good luck
👏👏👏👏👏
Which edition do you use ? Thank you
Excelente!! Es una obra musical muy difícil !! Sigue adelante, buen trabajo!!
Hi, I saw that you wrote in an A instead of a B at the Accelerando at the end of the cadenza. I was wondering if this B is a misprint in scores or if you separately chose to keep it out because it makes no sense (which I agree with you on)
Make it easier since one makes the melody, the other makes the details
So many double clicks😱
already did a good job man!🥰
this is a very f*cking hard concerto… brave pianist…
Thank you KZread algorithm to show me what i love most : solo piano practice of concerto, and Thank YOU Nero for posting this! You got a new follower 👋
Is the first poem too hard? I want to play it but im not sure. I played Ondine debussy recently, do you think i can do it? THanks! you played it so well
Love this movement. The first half actually sounds like it can stand alone as solo piano.
Really nice hands.
great
Very tough piece! In fact that's the piano masterpiece of all time - the endboss. If you train really hard, especially other pieces, I would say you are at least 5 to 7 years away to reach the goal. From the musical point of view, I would even double it. You would need a very good mentor, to ever reach the musical understanding. This should not discourage you, but encourage you that there is a goal that can be reached and many other goals will be reached on the journey. If we talk about playing Rach3 it can only be viewed from a professional point of view. Without professionalism it's like only hammering keys without any purpose and meaning. A hobby climber should never attemp to climb mount everest since many professionals don't even manage to do it. Keep on going!
I like it! I'm working on it right now as well. You're so close so you'll get it for sure. I love watching people practice. It humanizes all of us. It helps to realize all the hard work that goes into getting it. Then it rolls off your fingers like it's easy. What a feeling that is. Best of luck.
Bravo! Had so much fun watching this video.
I just watched one video and im now a fan. I dont think people realize how important practice videos are, I’ve always been scared of big pieces like concerto (especially Rachma) even if these are the pieces that made me want to start practicing piano (I’m an adult sort of beginner). I’ve search for a long time for rehearsal videos on youtube cause it helps me break down the piece in my head (by looking at it being played without the orchestra part, and much slower than the original opus). Most recording available on youtube are Live ‘Perfect’ ones that are good for the public ears (cause the whole pack -sound, scenery..- is enchanting) but it makes me personally feel like it’s an inaccessible impossible piece because of its perfect appearance. Thank you for your wonderful playing, and more importantly for those little mistakes here and there, for the camera angle, the piano sheet so we can follow. It sure demanded some editing work and i appreciate that as a fellow pianist. Bravissimo 👏
6.00 the triplet section is the only part of the piece i have attempted.
Is anybody else hearing the orchestra even tho there clearly isn't one lmaooo. Great practicing; Keep it up! I would love to hear this live with an orchestra ;)
1:16 you definitely played this section wrong both times, be careful with the high note
Fantastically done! I started learning this concerto about three weeks ago and am currently at the 4:00 mark. It's priceless being able to reference how you approach a part when I get stuck. Keep it up!
💥💪💪
why not practice ONE hand (R. hand) alone and NO pedal? Just askin' honest question.
Where can i find a good score?
@nero&piano I'm practicing this for some time and some parts show similarities with your playing. Very brave of you to share the process with us, because I've notices for myself when I try to record it, my playing is getting worse and I get frustrated with every wrong note. How long have you been playing piano?
Bravo!
I learned the first movement to this with the ossia cadenza 20 years ago I think it took me nearly a year before I performed it plus it’s a piece you have to continue to play through or you will lose it but it grows and gets better with time
SOOO good! What an accomplishment! You should be extremely proud!
This is one you have to keep revisiting as you don’t want to lose all that hard work
I got the cadenza blown up to A3 as I’m too proud to wear glasses
How do you do the beginning 16th notes after the slow intro? Kind of struggling on the first 2 measures 😅
Love this! A truly epic performance, well done
Flawless! Bravo
I’ve always wondered how it sounds like without the orchestra. Thanks for sharing!
Do you find playing pieces like these get easier as you get more and more used to it?
