Wandering Mirandas

Hey, fellow adventure seekers. I'm Tiffany, the creator at Wandering Mirandas, mom to an adventurous 4 year old, and lover of all things outdoors. My family and I live on Cape Cod in MA and we spend a lot of weekends exploring New England. Our daughter, my husband, and I love to seek out adventures near and far. On this channel you will find travel ideas and tips based on our own explorations. We recently completed a two month road trip from Massachusetts to Texas. On our road trip we visited 21 states. Hello! Great video. I'm looking to purchase a 12-month Annual Gold Pass for a family of four. I noticed that the pass includes 4 free tickets for friends. Does this mean we get 4 free tickets with each annual pass?

    Thanks for the review. I noticed that you said that you went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg first. I wanted to confirm that you didn’t experience any issues with it not being your home park (Six Flags requires you to visit your home park first.)

  • @WanderingMirandas

    I didn't have any problems :) I am not sure if that is the official policy but I actually used the pass at Sesame Place and Busch Gardens Williamsburg before going to my "home" park. I think if I lived closer to a different park it might have been an issue but my home state is different from all of there parks.

    Tip: Festhaus is a great place for food, but it’s very crowded! We usually go every summer and eat in New France, it’s less crowded, but Festhaus does provide more fun activities

    The New England Aquarium is very family friendly--and lots of fun. Another family friendly thing to do in Boston is to go on a whale watch. The best whale watches are out of Gloucester, for several reasons: Gloucester is closest to Stellwagen Bank, a prime whale feeding ground AND the whale watch captains benefit from the fishing fleet captains who radio whale locations back. However, the New England Aquarium runs a very good whale watch--worth the time and money. The Museum of African American History is housed in a school and a meeting house. You have to buy tickets in advance, due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Science Museum is always a hit with the 12 and under set. Many families like visiting ethnic neighborhoods. There's a lot of kid friendly things to visit in the North End--as well as really good Italian food (Remember Wednesday is Prince Spaghetti Day commercials?), the Old North Church and Paul Revere's House. How can you go wrong with that (and have a great gel Chinatown is a treat, too. For families with school aged children, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is wonderful. Check the calendar, for they regularly have family friendly activities. I would also recommend the Harvard Museums, especially the Museum of Natural History and the Peabody Museum. (These museums are not suitable for younger children under the age of 6.).

    Do they have lockers for your things while you're in the water? If yes, is there a key on a safety pin that you attach to swimsuit or what was it like if you don't want to leave your things on a chair unattended?

  • @Jablinnn
    @Jablinnn Жыл бұрын

    @@tashiraburton I 100% think you should do both parks. Most of the lines aren’t that bad for rides and same with food. Even during the summer if you go early enough then you should be able to do everything you wanna do ! My recommendation is that you should go to aquatica first then go to the main park.

    THE BEST PLACE FOR FIREWORKS IS BY GRIFFON, pretty clear view= believe it or not, the parking lot in the very front ?England, will get you the most unobstructive view though you won't hear the music. Also, by the Festhaus in the back is also great and near where they shoot them off.

    Marble Falls, Texas is a great place to visit. Bluebonnet Cafe is known for their pies. It’s a must try! Main Street has tons of cute boutiques and shops. There’s the LBJ Lake and Kingsland is close by which has many spots to swim, like The Slab. ♥️
