  Majestic Prince is one of those rare anime where the CG is justified because its used for shots that cant be done in 2D. Or at least, would be extremely difficult to do in 2D.

  While it adds a touch of charm to it, the crackling of the radio does hinder the piece a bit in my eyes. Wish I could find a clear version.

  I guess since Izuru is [spoiler] half Wulgaru, it would make sense that his Full Burst Mode is basically Wulgaru's hunter sense. Meaning that Izuru has claimed Jiart as HIS Lamata in this clip [end of spoiler].

  After nearly forty years of watching Mecha anime, I'm grateful that the genres not Dead. Mobile suit Gundam will always have my first love. Majestic Prince renews the true romance.

  Seeing Izuru quite literally push his machine to its limits was a spectacle. I wish we could see more portages pushing their machines to their very limit.

  Coming from the recent WfM and IBO, this is actually pretty impressive. With it in 3DCG actually made it better than some other mecha shows I've seen in a while, and those had 2D animations. I'm pretty surprised to see this pop up in my feed, but eh, it's a welcomed one.

  God, the fight scenes in Majestic Prince are just a treat to watch. None of them are exactly the same so you can always find something to enjoy in each one. They all share one thing though, being high-impact and fast paced and just beautifully put together.

  The Super Robot Wars series has opened up a a whole world of mecha animes I would never have thought to check out. Amazing. Another great one to add to the pile.

  majestic prince is one of the only 3D mecha that works, and the fight choreography is absolutely phenomenal, this anime was something else, such a huge shame it wasnt more famous. i loved almost everything about this anime.

  I completely agree! This came out in 2013 too during a time where most anime that included 3D visuals tended to all fall short. Majestic Prince was definitely ahead of its time.

  POV: you are in your basement listening to a secret military radio you obtained. rumours ISAF forces are closeby and that theire planning to retake the town you live in but for 4 days after that rumour nothing has happend only distant fighting suddenly you hear your anthem through the radio 0:00 you havent heard in ages you hear jet engines flying over your house. you run upstairs and see 3 planes with ISAF markers on them an realise the radio is connected to theire planes not soon after they flew after 0:10 you hear alot more jet engines and tank engines hunders of em and you are certain they are going to retake every piece of land so you raise the ISAF flag you have hidden in your home and wish them luck

  2021 and i think this is still the most impresive mecha fight to this day The choreograph and transition of the fight is ridiculous, each attack connect and the scene goes by in really well And this is from a fucking tv series

  I whole heartedly agree. I think the only thing that comes remotely close is some of the figths from Aldnoah.Zero and Gundam IBO. I hesitate to even include IBO because those fights feel less like mech fights and more like traditional anime fights due to the organic way the mechs move in the show.

  I remember back in 2006 that I noticed my older brother beating the game with the F-117 and after playing it myself and getting use to the controls, I realized that the story, the planes, the gameplay and the overall music was amazing and soon after that I got Ace Combat 5 for my birthday along with Ed Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures, both for PS2. But Ace Combat 4 is what started my interest in the Ace Combat Series. I still have both game and a PS2, so I can always go back to it.
