I wanted to let you know that I appreciate how brave and strong you were to make this video despite how difficult it was for you. I'll admit that I also have struggles with my gender identity. I'm not even sure exactly how I would describe myself, but I know I'm not cis. It's also a difficult thing for me to talk about, which might partially explain why I haven’t been on social media much over the past 3.5 years. I don't really like my birth name that much, but I haven't really thought of a great alternative. I guess I could go by Jane as an alternate name. I'm still trying to figure it out. I do get quite stressed and anxious when thinking about what may or may not happen over the next 7 months and about how there are people who will continue to be ignorant no matter what. But at the end of the day, I suppose that is just life. I believe that it is still important for us to remain true to ourselves.

You say "oh my god" almost as often as I do. 5) Are you from California? 6) You be you and don't worry about how hungry the Internet is. 7) "I NEVER WANNA HEAR THAT EVER AGAIN!" - people who say Billie can't sing are musically and vocally ignorant. She don't give a fuck, she just points to her Grammys and Oscars and deposits the checks. 8) She buried her vocals on some songs intentionally. 9) I tried to warn you to get your tissues before listening to "The Greatest" but my time machine wasn't working. 10) I had so much fun, your passion is infectious. Good luck in your endeavors... I'll be watching you. (NOT in a creepy "Every Breath You Take" by The Police kinda way) And finally, if it's something you don't usually do, search for my son Jonathon Royse and his cover of Hozier's "Take Me to Church." It would be fun to see someone react to his cover. Get your tissues - the passion he put into that cover is amazing. (PS, he is a professional Actor/Singer) He performs basically every year at Portland Pride - he's very good.

The whole thing about "being born blue" reminded me smmm of the MtF trans experience and gender in general. It's definitely not what she meant by it, but in that verse she points out a lot of things being predetermined at the moment ur born, and the differences between father and mother, and the way their upbringings and dare i say their sex and gender affect the way society conditions them to act as parents. Also obviously of course being born blue being an allegory for being amab, which is a wild connection but it also makes sense to me in a personal manner
