I’m fourteen and this is so exciting I’d love to be an oncologist
Thank u
I'll be a littmann cardiology IV fanboy until they release the cardiology V, at which time I will become a cardiology V fanboy. It's pricey, but invest in your commonly used tools and it'll make your life easier in the long run.
Hi Have u qualified Are u back in uk? How was the process, for registration Gmc and obtaining FY2?
What’s the UCAT cut off normally for foundation year ?
I really hate when professors don't upload the lecture slides ahead of time. I had a professor last semester that would only upload the slides the day of, or right before the lecture, sometimes even after the fact. Makes it impossible to preview the base notes, and I felt attending those was a waste of time as I was just lost. Thank god at least that Zoom lecture recordings are a thing nowadays. Idk as for live lecture vs listening to a recording, maybe some people like yourself benefit from the pressure of attending a live lecture and take better notes that way, but unfortunately extra pressure does not translate to better note taking for me. I'll miss a lot of stuff regardless. So the rewind feature in recordings helps a lot. I've been trying to integrate more active recall into my studying and organize it better into a flashcard format. I think it is helping me to study better than to only study passively. However, I underestimated how much time it actually takes to think up your own questions/answers, transfer them to flashcards and then devote time to studying them. Takes a lot longer than I thought. Or perhaps I just need more practice. We'll see. Thanks for the video and your take on this.
Could you please explain to me how the practical learning and for the practical endorsement situation works as in how many do I need to learn and are the practicals that I would need to perform going to be anything related to the title of the practical? If that makes any sense could you please help me understand how to learn the practicals and what do I need to learn and how many please for the AQA or OCR A exams I have no idea if there’s any difference, I’m a private candidate so i really don’t know what to learn😅
thank you <3 finally getting it
Now if you have to repeat that active recall part, you would rewrite everything on a new piece of card without looking until you have memorized everything?
May Allah bless you guys endlessly, this was extremely helpful JazakAllah khair 💕💕💕💕🥰🥰🥰🥰
Nice video, would love an update on your stock portfolio 😊
This is exactly the way I have been taught since Year 10, my legal studies teacher literally had us do this. She printed the powerpoint slides and we would annotate during class, and then she would give out worksheets which were meant to reinforce the knowledge we learnt. Then at the start of the next class, we would have to do "active recall activities" in which a student will come up on the board and fill out information that was missing which helped reinforce our learning. I am a first year university student now and I do almost exactly the same thing!
In terms of lessons, which is more easier? Dentistry or Nursing?
🎉🎉
I'm a surgical tech and this also helps a technologist portfolio. For example anytime he mentioned surgeon, I saw it from a surg tech aspect. We also attend AST conferences, and we are part of the AST/FAST organizations as well. Thank you good tips to give my students!
How to not get distracted on youtube while studying:On phone&PC create a different user account, then immediately head for youtube, and search for things you just hate in general to fill the algorithm with unattractive items. You might need to take a couple of mins to think about those things.Hold steadfast in discipline because while filling algorithm with trash there are gonna be things that do catch your eye.It can also just be things you aren’t interested in,for example,if you’re a guy,you can fill your search with makeup, girl fashion trends, how to breast feed a child etc.Be creative guys😂! You can do this every 1 to 2 mins before studying amd click on them to keep algo locked in those areas so it doesn’t “try it’s luck” with you and please don’t search anything you like with that user even in google search-it’s somehow linked.
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 INTRO!
Bro, if you got a D at the end of year 12 what was your university prediction for economics?
You look 99% Bangladeshi, am I right?
What number you scored in your degree?
Very useful video. To be honest I feel like writing makes it better to stick in my brain than typing it digitally.
From watching your vids as an aspiring medic in Year 12 preparing for the UCAT, to writing the personal statement, to interview prep, and now Alhamdulillah as a 1st year med student I cannot express how I grateful I am to have come across your channel. JazakALLAH Ryhan, I hope you’re keep well as I noticed it’s been a year since u uploaded
Thank you so happy to hear how far you’ve come!! I’m glad it’s helped and sorry if it seemed outdated. I’m doing good thanks for asking In’Sha’Allah you attain what’s written for you
This guy was ahead of his time 😂😂
You are fabulous u saved my life thank u for this content which I was looking for ,keep doing, allah may bless u
Thank you
what if you are not doing well this field?
I read articles related to the lecture that i want to study
Youre sooooo handsome!
I’ve seen so many active recall videos and I can’t help but think for someone like me who struggles to study writing down what I’ve learned after reading or a lecture does nothing because I don’t remember is there anyone out there who read through a lecture tries to question the self and doesn’t remember or is it just me
Me too I don’t remember most things. I don’t even know what I need to remember

My exam’s in 18 days and I just did a mini-mock and got 470 in abstract reasoning, I feel hopeless. I’m gonna follow all your tips and I’ll come back to this comment after my exam and say what I got in the section. It is honestly my worst section. I want to around 700-800 in abstract reasoning. That’s my goal. I’ll do A LOT of practise abstract reasoning questions everyday, hopefully it will pay off.
what did you get?
How were you able to get into med without taking physics ? Don’t you need pure science to get into med ?

Can you make a detailed video about what is included in a medicine foundation year and what to expect.
these prices are so cheap, 3yrs later and 3 months costs £90 now
Pricings are more expensive than what you put now. 😥
MashaAllah bro, this is awesome!
Thanks for so much information...💯 I came from Pakistan and here I'm doing BTEC level 2 with English and Maths GCSE. Shall I progress onto A-levels or BTEC level 3. My college can offer me A-levels. I think A-levels are best because I want to get into medicine and good unis don't accept btec level 3 science. The other thing is that I don't have any GCSEs except my maths and English.... will this effect my uni admission?
Definitely take A levels. It expands the universities you can apply to. Also consider retaking your GCSE as a private candidate or only applying to universities that don't emphasize GCSE's
@@user-qx9id9lq9s JazakAllah for you help much appreciated....💯 Unfortunately I'm going for BTEC level 3 because my college has denied about accepting us BTEC Level 2 students in A-levels. So hoping for the best after that... looking to do foundation year May be.
@@Neilmorl9857 hey I did the same as well I couldn’t get into A levels. Did you manage to get into uni to do medicine? Thank you in advance
@@beatrixmadue9645 I've done btec level 2 and now starting btec level 3 course (in sept) for two years as my college didn't allow me a levels And I plan to go to uni with foundation year for medicine Hope that helps or at least you understand :D
@@Neilmorl9857 yeah that helps a lot thank you so much. I emailed universities today to get an idea of what I can do as well hopefully I’ll get in.
I feel you and I know, it's not an easy decision to make overnight, it's sacrificing something that you truly loved and it's like as you said: saying Good Bye to a very dear friend that you know you won't meet again. But we all know that you can either have fun or you can be a surgeon.

Thanks for helping me improve my revision technique.
