hood pins are safe. im 64 and over the years i have seen many vehicles with them installed and nobody ever had an incident. if you do install them make damn sure your safety latch is there and it works. after all, thats what the thing is there for!

Pretty sure in many states, this would not pass inspection as the line needs to be solid all the way with no splices.

I would be really interested to watch a follow up video, with you going back to review how your exhaust has held up. This video was made 3 years ago and that should be plenty of time for that turbo to have glowed :) Aluminum melts at 1220*f and this exhaust must be so soft and annealed, you should be able to touch it and have it fall off. The world needs you to follow up with this!

Thanks, this is the first video I've found that finally answered the question, " do I need to flare the line under the car too?". The answer might be obvious but I'm not a damn mechanic and none of the other videos mention it. I prefer the dumb videos. And I bet single flaring works fine. I'll find out soon enough!
