I got so mad because I took heavy inspiration from some art and people got mad and said I traced even though I took inspiration from the art and so now there is like seven or ten people that are just mad at me
Great idea! Thanks!
Do you use a fixative for your paintings? Because I like to have the shiny look of oil, this is why I skip acryl...to matt, I bought new ones, should be a little shiny (but not shure how it will look) but I think with a spray you can brush up the matt gouache. What do you think? Thank for your help!

@@CecileYadro thank you very much for your fast reply!!! 😘
Firest day ioved from pinches coloʻr to goash its so cute soo cool dream on paper 😍🥰😍🥰😍
🥰
Thank you very much! I will give gouache a chance...
Hope you enjoy it!
@@CecileYadro will change my acryl colours today, and I hope I that I can paint details in my portraits.
Thank you very much, actually I tried Acryl, but I didn´t like it...I start with Aquarellpencils and colours, but I like to have more details in my portraits, and its hard to blend. Maybe try oil again, but the drying time takes so long...😄
You could add Liquin to your oil paint to speed the drying time.
@@CecileYadro Yes of course you are right, thanks for the tip. I forget it, after 30 years of abstinence painting😂😂
Thanks so much for sharing your honest thoughts on this topic, Cecile. 💛 I think you're doing an amazing job! I'm at 22,000 and it took me over 6 years of consistent, weekly posting, to get here. Not a week missed in all these years, but I haven't given up because I feel the same way you do. KZread is the best platform to build community around our art and to be able to share services/products we're selling elsewhere, which is how we can really earn a living. After all these years of hard work and posting consistently, my monthly KZread income is still not even enough to cover a week's worth of groceries. 🙄 However, without it, I wouldn't have been able to grow my Patreon, traffic to my website and courses, etc. I do make more now, than I was able to make in my last regular full time job, because I've built several income streams for myself, and KZread has been a big part of this. I think it's so important to get this information out there because lots of people wanting to make a living as an artist still fall into thinking that they can put their all into KZread and that their channel, by itself, will bring them enough income to live off of. The people who are lucky enough to get to this point are very few an far between, and it's also in my opinion, not a sustainable business model in the long run. I'm glad I've found your channel and look forward to seeing more of you and your art. Cheers!
thanks for your message, sending you a DM
IS THERE TUTORIAL ON HOW TO DO THE SKETCH😭😭😭
No, sorry!
does it blend well on the paper? any videos?
Look in my channel, I have a ton of videos on gouache!
My very first watercolor painting will be with gouache. Thanks for the Amanita painting!
Have fun!
nice sense of colour
Thanks!
What brush do you se
Sorry, I don't remember!
@@CecileYadro it’s ok
I actually started out acrylic, then moved to gouache. Then I got involved with urban sketching, which is ink and watercolor. I found that ink and gouache don’t work well together since the gouache covers up the ink. (As a side note, now I find it hard to do a painting completely in gouache after learning to think in watercolor.) I really like this idea of mixing watercolor and gouache together because I could preserve the ink drawing if I apply the gouache judiciously. Great video!
Have fun!
Beautiful... 😍
Thanks a lot 😊
@@CecileYadro 😊🙏💞
That laugh at the end 😂
😉
For me jelly gouache was amazing, it helped me learn and get on with the new medium
Great!
Das ist meine absolute Lieblingspalette, in die Mitte habe ich noch Pfannen mit weiteren Farben geklebt.. Großartig. Lg aus Köln
👍
I love how you painted the cat ❤
Thanks!
@@CecileYadro your very welcome
Beautiful 💖
Thank you!
@@CecileYadro you're most welcome!
Thanks, helpful! ..could you please do more urban sketches with brush pen, watercolors, and neocolors?? please?🙏🤓Thanks again!
It's in my to-do list!
Tracing is good. Tracing is not cheating. You can even trace the whole thing! Tracing helps you to understand how and where to move your pencil when drawing. Everyone should trace, it’s underrated!
🙌
I have a question, i want to give my friend gouache paint for her graduation bc she loves to draw, should i buy her the tube one or himi one that looks like sauce pacgage?
I bet if you watch the video you'll get your answer!
I can’t wait to try these! I’ve been watching a lot of gouache videos with tips but no first time using gouache guides.
Hope you enjoy!

These sound like so much fun, I might have to give these a try ☺☺
You should!
love them all
Thank you!!!
Beautiful work. It saddens me to see that such work has only so few likes and followers and absolutely stupid content has much more 😑
Ah! I agree, of course!
I have always wanted to try the Jelly gouache but have seen that it can mold after three months . I've had my Arteza gouache for 3 years now and still smooth no issues. I am conflicted
I don't like the cups, I prefer tubes, so that solves the question for me!
Mine is not going off even for 15 min what do I do 😢
What is the surface of your palette?
When she said "doodles from her corporate job" I began to get really jealous. Thought the dream job might've existed. Then she added that she was bored. 😂😂
I'm not bored all the time! But Zoom meetings are boring, don't you agree?
Un autre merci pour cette vidéo. Des vidéos différentes de celles qu'on a l'habitude de voir. Super travail ! Vous avez un nouvel abonn😊
Merci !
Merci beaucoup pour ces astuces!

I just bought himi gouache. And Im just learning to paint. Omg i feel like this is gonna make things harder for me 😭 Also I have a fear of using tube paints. I always squeeze out more than i wanted, lol
That's why I have an airtigh palette: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k42uzciDdcnOh8o.html
Love your approach, Cecile. ❤ I'm always focusing on making the drawing perfect and hating mistakes. I need to relax and just enjoy the process! 😊
Yes, art is a journey, not a destination!
mine is not softening
oh, did you let the water sit for a bit?
I don’t care that gouache dries darker and that it dries so quickly.
same!
I love all of these! Portraits scare me for some reason. Maybe I need to challenge myself with some portraits (starting with the gouache blobs - that seems low pressure).
Blobs are the first lesson, and then we build skills on top of another, so it's getting pretty easy.
