    I loved the way he connected large language models and conformal prediction as an alternate to retrieval augmented generation in llm.

    Thank you for the opportunity to hear such a prominent, yet non-public, speaker. The only jarring thing was his claim that the Moscow language was foreign to him, a Soviet boy raised in Kyiv, where everything, including school, was in Russian at the time. Trust me, it was the same Russian language. Nevertheless, I hope that learning from Kolmogorov was worth the challenges Prof. Vovk experienced.
