I believe the classic has a 4.5 qt bowl .5 smaller than the Artisan. I've had mine since the late 80s when I paid only $149.99 at Macy's. It was an extraordinary deal for this workhorse.

I tried but I only had a thermometer that when up to 220 (thought it went higher so I hadn't bothered getting another) so I'm not sure I got it to the right temp, since it's still a jelly this morning

I made this cake for my friend’s son’s birthday, his name is Chase, just like the Paw Patrol dog! It turned out really well, except the top of the paw print inside wasn’t quite lined up properly, even though I followed the tutorial exactly (even measured the distance from the outside of the cake to the centre). Every one was quite impressed, nonetheless!!
