    This aircraft is priceless, oh, and cheap at the same time. 😂 Once properly set up, even with the stock transmitter, it's a dream to fly. Tons of power, very maneuvrable, decent flight time with one lipo. Much faster with a 7*5 propeller and still unlimited vertical. Truly a gem. Only downside is that I had to reinforce tail assembly and motor mount with the big prop, but the motor is so powerful the weight gain is absolutely not an issue. Best bang for the buck ever. I absolutely ❤ adore it and recommend it to every average pilot interested. I don't recommend as a first plane, though. Very sensitive and responsive, it handles more like an extremely angry warbird than like a general aviation high wing monoplane. 😅

    I love this plane. I look at this one as the new standard for Brushless Sub-250g Planes. For the life of me I can't understand why FlyBear hasn't come out with a full line of Warbirds this size using the exact same electronics. They would literally fly off the shelves ;-)

I love the pun! 🤣 I'm expecting issues with my bank this summer: I plan to buy the 500mm Volantex P-51D brushless 1S, the QF SU-35, it will be my first jet rc mini, and maybe the qidi bush plane. All in all I'm happy FlyBear didn't do that, this way I'll still be able to do other things with my credit card... 🤣

    @@pierre-marcelgoral8381 I'm eager to see how the Volantex Brushless P51D 500mm Warbird flies. I understand it has a brushless motor but still has a gearbox? I've been having ESC issues with the QF SU35 so you may want to pass on that one. I get constant motor cuts from the ESC even after I MOD'd it with more airflow venting. It seems they didn't install an ESC that is reliable. Such a shame as it's such a good airframe and I really enjoy flying that one. I just replaced all the electronics in mine except the motor. I'm in the process of getting it setup again on 3S ;-) I think I have one more flight video of the SU25 to post while it was still stock. Then some 3S flights.

    @@tinkerzlab It was a rumour based on fake pictures on Ali, but RC forums guys said on the dedicated topic that it's a direct drive brushless motor. Last comments tend to indicate the ship is fast and good in vertical (maybe not like the Flybear SBACH but better than the XK A280, being half the weight.) I'll order one as soon as I get back home. As for the SU35, I indeed read that its ESC tends to overheat, to the point of melting solder points !! Some have the issue, some have not. Maybe it's a winter flying aircraft. 😁 Some enhanced the cooling using enlarged air scoops, with or without results. Some changed the ESC to satisfaction. I might pass on this one, but tinkering on airflow inside the ship kind of interest me. Like a "Challenge accepted" ring in my head. 😁 And I want to try a jet. I don't like the idea of a silhouette aircraft, and I don't want to buy brushed motored RC aircrafts anymore, I've got plenty of them. 😅

    Hi Tony, I don't own any bush plane yet and since I operate on a short grass field I hand launch and belly land all my aircrafts. I might pull the trigger on this one in order to train in real take off and landing. Would it be a good idea, or despite its wheels it would be unable to taxi on short grass? Happy flying, sir, thanks again for your Flybear Sbach vids, I really adore this ship ❤! 😊👍 See you in the air!

  • @tinkerzlab
    @tinkerzlab19 сағат бұрын

    I think if it was really short grass it might do ok. The best landing gear I've seen for a micro bush plane is the Arrows Pioneer. It has those really soft, fat, balloon tires and I was able to take off from that rough terrain I use just fine with that plane. You might be able to adapt the landing gear from that plane to this one or mod it with larger wheels ;-) That FlyBear SBACH is definitely a Keeper!

    Hello greetings from Germany haha, so my English is not that good. I have that plane 2 times so i can fly alone and have more than one akku and if i want to fly with a friend i have two of them. So my question is about the probs im new to this hobby and i want to know if i buy a different prob if it flys faster or something im not that hard into modifying i dont have that much knowledge but to change a prob is quite easy. So my question is if a new prob is going to be better and witch one would you reccomend. And secondly you upgraded the wheels, i want also bigger ones to land on gras, do you think that is possible and what do i need to look for ? I like your Videos a lot thanks for the whole inputt i bought it for 80€ in a sale and i like it way more than the little warbirds.

    Your English is as good as mine! I think the stock prop is a very good prop for this motor on a 2S LIPO. I've test several prop and the one I fly with is the Gemfan LR 7035 2-Blade Prop. The power and speed are about the same as the stock prop but I think you get slightly more flight time with it. The larger wheels I put on mine would work well on short grass much better than the stock wheels and they work very well in the area in which I fly. I’ve just got this model, based on your review and want to set it up as per your settings. However I’m a relative newbie and you’ve lost me when it comes to setting the deflection rates. What is the process for doing this as the percentages are so small. Hoping you can explain or, better still, do a video showing the process for people like me. Loving the channel.

  • @tinkerzlab
    @tinkerzlabКүн бұрын

    The deflection is the amount of movement of the control surfaces. For the Ailerons and Elevator it's the distance the control surfaces move up and down. For the Rudder it the distance the control surface moves left and right. I try to measure this inline with the Control Horns in Manual Mode. The amount of movement for a control surface can be increased / decreased based on the amount Dual-Rate you have programmed into the Transmitter as well as how the Control Linkage is setup between the servos and control horns. If you download My Setup File, it's a PDF document and there is a link to it in the Show Notes, you'll have all this information as reference. It covers all the information needed to get it setup exactly as I have mine. As stated in the video, for a beginner the default setup is great. Except for modifying the linkage, the other aspects (Dual-Rate, EXPO) will only be important if you have a Programmable Transmitter that can bind to the plane. I'm not sure if you'll be flying with the Stock TX or a Hobby-Grade TX? This Video may be of help. I published it to explain how to use our Setup Files. I don't provide My OpenTX Files anymore but in the latter half of the video it explains the Setup File. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nIeepsZ8ps3Kd7Q.html

    Great presentation, I purchased the PNP play version and then ordered the T8S transmitter that came with a receiver, but it was the wrong receiver, there was no place on this receiver to plug that 3rd wire coming off the speed control, and without that wire connected it would not bind. After a little research I ordered the right receiver , installed it and the binding went smoothly except the ailerons were backwards, great how do I fix this when the transmitter is not a computer style, after going through the manual I found that there's a little button on the front of the gyro you push to change the direction of the control surfaces. I flew it a few days ago and found it to be a very capable aircraft, I kept the throw rates at what was set from the factory, I fly a lot quick combat wings so I'm used to a lot of deflection movement. I did order a second one of these but in the RTR version, setup should be easier....

    @@tinkerzlab are you going to fly this with the radiomaster tx16s?

    Hallo , there is no need of an extra receiver to bind the TX16s to that plane , The build in receiver uses the Protocol " FX 9630 " what is included in the Multi-Module Firmware 1.3.4.0 , works fine for me . Best HHG

    Thanks for that info. I discovered that protocol later on as no one seemed to know what protocol it used when it was 1st released. It's nice to have the option to add an external RX in case you don't have a Multi-Protocol TX. I wish they all had that option.

    After few hard crashes,mine is now very hard to fly,btw has the same giro as my Iphone. Think that the MEms is sometimes out of order. I clicked all your links,but the Volantex warbirds which are bekomming very popular in Europe I donnot see. Regeslation is that only parkflyers Max 250gr,no cams,may fly here without warrant/papers. Planes/drones small and big have allot of restrictions and you need papierwerk and registration. So up with the parkflyers/warbirds. Compliment for your interresting YT RC plane reviews. We donnot have the space and beautifull blue sky here in the Netherlands,love the scenery. Any snakes there;)

    Flew this morning again the KF605,after throw directly nose in the ground or after 3/4 seconds flight nose down. 30 launches,battery changed,of and on but and again binding. Nose broke off,pff. Very strange flying and suddenly compleet out off control. Than I had an Eureka moment because the errors in the air looked like the stunt mode. I bind again and with no gasthrottle I keep the sticks to the left,red led starts blinking then solid. Then right stick up,red led blinking then solid. After this KF flyes as a dream again. I never touched the stunt button,so probebly there is sometimes a conflict in the electronics(hard crashes)which influates the circuit. Maybe this is of help for other users of this type of circuit boards in RC planes.✈️

    The Stated CG is incorrect! See where the Plane balances Neutral with the Stock LIPO and move the CG forward 4mm. That's where I have my CG. The Setup PDFs are updated.

  • @TriumphRiderR3

    I don't understand your CG settings. The wing is only 81mm front to back, so how can the CG be at 88mm?

  • @tinkerzlab
    @tinkerzlabАй бұрын

    I gifted this plane so I don't have it or the manual available.. I should have stated to measure the CG from the Foam at the Nose not Wing. I'm guessing if you measure back from the foam part of the nose 88mm you'll end up 20% back from the leading edge of the Wing. Or to simplify it, see where the plane balances neutral with the stock LIPO and move the CG 4mm forward. Good catch! I'll post a correction and update the PDF Files.
