Twice the regular speed, which you can hear the bell ringing in other videos with CN 3254 before her retirement in 2012.

@ThisCaptainLilDude Funny story, even when the video isn’t sped up, the bell rings at regular intervals. But not back in the late 1980s and early 1990s when the bell rang at different intervals until they changed it in the later years. Even if Steamtown had enough money to make 3254 Steam up again, I bet they would have the bell ringing at the same intervals like sometime after the 90s idk, but we would have to find out in the future. Now that I think about it, maybe a wealthy individual might have enough money not only for 3254’s restoration, but also to fix any, if not all of the infrastructure on the railroad property. Only time will tell.

Well it’s a long hairy story, but I’d rather shave it for later. Jokes aside, here’s the actual explanation: - Looks like AI has literally no clue what the CN 3254 actually looks like, just random chunks of machinery passing by the “camera.” Or should I say: The SHAM-era? - The 9000’s cab was on coffee break that day. Real reason: It was poorly rendered when generated by AI. - The GS-4’s tender was really behind the 4002, but AI saw it was just a random piece of rolling stock randomly generated into the shot. - It’s not just the MILW diesel but also the rest of the train including the Amtrak SDP40Fs slowly getting distorted while passing the camera. From the AI’s POV that is. - Only for this video, the 587 is a shape shifting secret agent from another planet. Sorta like a transformer. - For the camelback, it’s just to fill in the spot. Nuff said.

To answer your question, I don’t really know either.
I did a video on my channel testing the Chat GPT’s knowledge on trains. The results was, and I quote that I said, “AI won’t be taking over the world anytime soon”. lol. This video also supports that opinion
It’s almost like if they know what plagiarism means and they won’t comply.
Honestly, AI sucks when it comes to trains. Maybe it has something to do with the general public’s (aka Non-Railfans) perception of trains, but I’m not sure. Either way, stay FAR away from AI when it comes to trains.

As a kiwirail train spotter... it is a good whistle but the sound of it in 2012 for me personally when i first saw it in person is much better. But did see it in 2013 and 2014 when it did its last runs and then in 2016 for my towns 150th 😊

It’s a funny story, but I didn’t actually intend on making a video about the two 844s (which I forgot the UP GP30 with the same number but I chose instead an ATSF C40-8W & the FEF-3 we all know and love) which that screenshot was originally meant to be posted on Discord.
