I’ve recently realized my son has this illness, when I think back on certain occasions I can see now why I couldn’t understand him not being involved with friends, family etc. He told me that cops follow him and he’s wanted even the ambulance follow him with lights flashing, he recently quit his job and sent a ( when I’m gone) video to his favorite 14 year old niece, I’m scared and I don’t pressure him and I keep calm when I’m talking to him not to upset him, but he said they want him to die, and everything would go away. I’m heartbroken as a mother….. this all came to a head when his car was towed, god knows why. He’s 35 years old

Hello. Im unsure of your situation. My best advice would be to take him to a G/P as soon as possible. They should direct you. could be drug induced and will pass without further use or he could be a fried unit and then will require care. Im not a doctor.

Hi, I am sorry you are going through this. I am truly confused and broken as well, my sister who lives overseas alone has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. We don't how to reach her. We are trying to get her back home but it's been futile. She's 36. At this moment, I can only think of offering someone else in the same situation, some warmth. I hope your son gets help and feels better.

I am so sorry to hear this.. My sister has this illness. Luckily, she is married and her husband has stayed with her and has taken care of her. She is my only sibling and I just can't relate to her, she was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at age 37.. But she had been mentally ill since her teens. she is now 68 years old. I do know how important good nutrition is, she is better being off of sugar and high carbs. Also, counseling has helped her..

My grandmother isn’t well and I’m looking up a bunch of videos to help me try to deal or thing I can do to help her, she doesn’t want to get help and think everyone is out to get her, she thinks the Russian mafia is after her but she doesn’t see how it’s impacting her ability to live
