It's a shame this gun needed so much work to get it to where you needed it to be but the same is true for Glock and a ton of other poly frame striker pistols. That mag release situation sucks. For my preferences, I prefer HK/old Walther style paddles over buttons: buttons can be too deep or too shallow, or textured wrong or any number of issues but paddle mag releases are just right for me. Great review!

@roaringsteelmedia Thanks. I have seen some people say they love it the way it is,but I feel they never ran it under stress or on the clock. Little things become a big deal in a gun fight or for competition. Just want to be honest the gun has great potential, and I think I have only got it part of the way there. I have got all the big issues fixed and I am very happy with it now. I can be picky compared to most because I have shot so many brands and models. Thanks for the support.

Falcon 9xc... Glock 45 clone? What is the material of the backstrap? Also, how is the trigger pull on it? I am intrigued with LFA.

@Styxx2018 Glock 19 barrel with 17 handle,but with comp makes it full 17 size. The trigger had a 5-pound connector changed to 3.5 and changed some springs, and it is now a smooth 3.5-pound trigger. I was a little tight and rough when new, but it is breaking in nicely. Dont judge it out of the box before putting a few rounds through it. It likes breaking in like shadow systems. The backstrap is aluminum out of box and so is magwell.

Either the ports have slowed the cycling speed down to the point where you need to take some more weight off the slide or you need to work on your grip some. That gun shouldn’t be flipping that much and you should be able to take your next shot as fast as you can pull the trigger. Looks like you might not be smashing your hand into the beaver tail hard enough.

It looks like you need to bring your support hand back and down slightly to get better contact with the grip. If you push up on the bottom of the trigger guard with your support hand then down with your shooting hand at the same time you’ll eliminate the dip and keep your hand smashed into the beaver tail to eliminate muzzle rise. Once I perfected that grip I could shoot most subcompact guns flatter than my compensated and ported open guns.

You put way more thought into this than I do. My approach is fairly simple -- all my handguns are EDC candidates, so I compete with whichever gun is the least "proven" -- newest to me or most recently modified or something along those lines. Luckily for me, all my guns are Glocks or Glock clones, so I'm not bouncing around different platforms.

Yes that is a good way to approach it. I guess that is my approach sometimes. Some of my pistols are completely different in so many ways making it complicated, but sometimes it can make it fun as well.

I'm certainly not a Glock fanboy, but I was forced to carry Glocks for decades, and now I can't find anything that is as reliable and as comfortable. I'd love to try a Bul Armory or Staccato or other 2011-style handgun, but I'm hesitant to drop that much $$$ knowing that everytime I've tried something new, I always went back to Glocks.

BUL Armory gives you a high quality product for reasonable pricing. I just hope the Ported and Comped version come in around $2750 - $2999 with completely no MIM parts.

Great video, thinking of porting mine. If you don't mind me asking why is the porting not further towards the end of the barrel? Just curious if it's more beneficial.

I just sent the guy the barrel and told him what gun I had. This is what came back. I was afraid it would affect velocity and not work as well. Velocity is not affected much, and it shoots super flat. I can't say which is better. People think if ports are near the end, it is more effective,but forget if it is near the chamber, it has more gas to bleed and longer to bleed gas. I guess the guy knew what he was doing. I really don't think there is a huge difference. The ports are not are far forward as they may look. They are centered mostly, and it is a long barrel.

The 507 comp is better overall. The 507 comp have better Durability, battery life, reticle features, and clearer glass. Your life is valuable and the competition time is valuable. I highly recommend the Holosun! 💯

Yeah, I can't find any torture tests to confirm the justice two is less durable than an SRO or 507 comp. The glass, reticle, and battery life are well within 10% as good as the 507 comp, and that is all up for debate by the users. They both advertise 50000 hours. The Glass and reticle look almost identical to my eyes.

Really great info very informative besides that I'm going to hint on the gun that he has I think this thing is really going to take the market real nicely I believe it's a falcon 9x it's the original nomad frame but I guess nomads signed with falcon or whatever is going on but it feels great in the hand I own a nomad 9x frame with an oem Glock slide and OEM trigger I also have the aluminum back strap and aluminum magwell when I say the grip angle on this gun with that setup feels really good in the hand and brings the dot to your I very nicely I'm holding no punches on that one

I realized while reviewing videos last night that on stage 6 the RO called my time as 27.03, but the timer picked up my slide & trigger pull and ended up recording a time of 38.something. That knocked me down a couple places overall in CO. I don't really care, aside from my ego.
