Isn't the root cause deeper though? I've had the twisties because I was taught horrible technique by coaches who should honestly be in prison for child-endangerment, so my subconcious throw the twisties at me as a last resort (i.e. to make me quit gymnastics before I accidentally killed myself). My subconscious knew I wouldn't quit voluntarily because of my ego, greedy coaches, and my narcissistic parents, so it forced me into a dangerous corner as a last resort to make me quit, a corner where I couldn't pretend anymore that my life wasn't on the line. In Simon's case, maybe the pressure to be the GOAT all the time forced her subconcious so pull the ejection handle, saying: "this circus is ridiculous - we keep betting our lives over something insane! You should not have to risk your life in the gym every day for a shiny medal and attention from people who don't even even know you. Time to quit and find healthier ways to receive love!". The brain isn't stupid, and the subconcious is even smarter.

one tip i learned that helped subconsciously was getting to the gate early and sit facing the outside watching planes take off, just helps to normalize the idea of planes taking off. you should be getting into the idea that thousands of planes are taking off all the time and there are tons of planes in the air at all times. I'm not saying its easy to get over a fear of flying but normalizing air travel in your head is a step forward.

This is a Tai chi maneuver. It us based on acupuncture/acupressure.,It works. This knucklehead doesn't tell you it's an ancient Chinese practice. He is just selfish. Terrible. Give credit where it is due. Don't follow fools like this that want glory and "likes" but is shallow. THIS IS NO COUNSELOR. Shame...DISGUSTING

Couldn’t be a truer statement! I’m struggling really hard right now. My girlfriends mom is extremely sadistic and narcissistic and treats me and our relationship like shit and puts her daughter in the middle of it and makes her essentially slave away for her and that’s all my gf knows because she’s been isolated and that’s how she’s been brought up. It’s sad because my gf is going to be 18 in 2 days and I’ve been with her for 3 years she’s so perfect in every other way but I don’t think she’ll be able to ever be strong enough to stand up against her mom. I pray that she might be able to one day but it just hurts knowing I’ll have to separate with her if nothing changes.
