Appreciate you answering the question from last week!!! I am the same with Amazing Spider-man.
Fascinating story about how Scrooge McDuck came to be. This is why I tune in every week!
Infinity Dime was a fun read and without Barks' Duck books, there wouldn't be a copy of Justice Ducks just over your shoulder in this video!
Just get Member's Only jackets and put a Pulp patch on 'em
Great Picks! Batman was very interesting this week, can't wait to see where all of this goes. The end of Nightwing is quite a cliff hanger as well. Destro was great, the Energon Universe does no wrong! (for now)
What is a book you wish you could stop collecting but still do? I keep trying to whittle my list down but can't! lol
See this week's video!
Didn't know about that Superman show tie in book. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! Looking forward to reading Scarlett and I've been loving the Energon Universe so far. Also, excited for Ultimates. I like the foundation that Hickman has laid in this Ultimate Universe. Looking forward to the stories they'll tell!
Like cow bell! Need more segue!!
I can't wait to read the Ultimates!
Another great show guys!
You talked me into getting She-Hulk! I am trying to thin my herd of comics I get but it is hopeless lol
There’s just so much good stuff!
I’m not Lobo. Yes you are. How many times have I dropped frag in a sentence lol
TMNT Black White and Green was a fun read and easy to jump on if you haven't read any of the previous series. It has a lot of great takes on the Turtles.
Another great show gentlemen!
The final issue of Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees was the best read for me this week so far. It was everything I could have asked for to wrap it up. Ain’t No Grave #1 was fantastic as well with the same creative team as Middlewest and The Me you Love in the Dark. Batman and The Deviant and Transformers were good, but more tools to move the story forward.
Babyface tattoo was dead on lol!
Great picks! Got them all this week.
How many books do you each read on average in a week?
For new releases Fritz says 6-12 depending on the week. Patrick eventually gets around to 10-15. We also read back issues...
Another great show!! You guys have great chemistry. Hope to make it down there one of these days.
I’m totally only a foodie and now I’m hooked on Rare Flavours
Also can we ever expect a blooper reel? lol
We have all the raw footage so maybe...
You should do 3 that almost made the cut as well. Don't give it much time but maybe a mention? Love these shows!
Loving the current Fantastic Four run. And of course, Transformers.
My pick of the week is Monsters are My Business #1. Great animated art style, splatterfest monster hunting, and a chainsaw-weilding koala bear!
Lots of great reads this week. Outsiders (a.k.a. Planetary II) came back strong after a just ok issue last month. Batman and Robin has continued to be great and a log of fun. Beneath the Trees were no one sees has a rock-solid penultimate issue and can’t wait to see how this all wraps up. Transformers was so much better than I expected with the first issue without Johnson doing the art.
Also stop watching me!! lol
Love these weekly reviews! Hope to make it to your store one day!
Beneath the Trees Where no one Sees was fantastic this week. The finial issue of Black Orchard Tenement is really starting to pull this new world they are creating together. I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Last but not least Cobra Commander is so much stupid fun, never did I think I would be enjoying a GI Joe comic again!
What did Fritz say at the end? Listened to it a few times and couldn't make it out.
He said a naughty word so we made it family friendly 😎
Duke #2 is my pick of the week for sure. I can't believe how well they are starting up the Energon Universe! Batman and Robin Annual was a really fun one shot stand alone that should not be missed if you are a fan of the Bruce/Damien dynamic. W0Rldtr33 #7 was great as well, not sure where they are taking all of this but I am in for the ride!
Pulpy content here! great conversation!
Great video, always excited for a Zdarsky elseworld story, and you’ve sold me on Cobra Commander!
I'll be sad to see the X-Men Krakoa Era come to an end. It's been a great run and the most engaged I've been in the x-books in a long time.
Pick of the week for sure was Transformers #4. That book is just such a great reimagining of the Transformers and can't wait for Cobra Commander to join the story next week! Batman and Robin was really good as well. They are really getting Damian Wayne right in that one and it's a lot of fun. The Outsiders #3 and Beast World #4 were both really good as well.
Love your content!
Glad you enjoy it!
I'm looking forward to world building in the Energonverse. Happy New Year Pulp Comics crew!
Happy New Year!!!
Duke #1 had great new world building. New issue of Tenement was great as well.
The Deviant #2 was SOOOOO GOOOD!
Happy Holidays to the whole amazing Pulp Comics crew!
And a Merry Christmas to you all
Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham #2 was fantastic! Batman / Santa Claus: Silent Knight #2 was a lot of fun, way better than it has any business being. Outsiders #2 is great, I am reading it alongside my first reading of Planetary and really enjoying it. I must say Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees #2 is my pick of the week hands down. It has Dexter vibes for sure and it's the good Dexter vibes, not the later garbage the show evolved into. It's the best use of animals as humas since Stray Dogs!
We wanted to pick Beneath the Trees but didn’t have enough copies left 😂
Great content! My one critique would be that the music is a bit loud and made it difficult to hear you both. But awesome video!
Oh and I forgot, Batman-Santa Claus - Silent Knight was a lot of fun. Santa as a crossbow wielding vampire hunter was a festive good time!
In best Our Bones Dust talk "Me no read all comic yet but Our Bones Dust kinda good" Batman was fantastic as well. I am looking forward to reading Transformers #3 later today! DC has really been killing it post Knightmares!
Happy Thanksgiving
Yoooo joe
Transformers #2 was very strong and keeps the momentum going until we figure out how the whole Energon universe is going to shape up. Petrol Head was a lot of fun and may have to keep reading that one. Other great issues this week that I have read so far would be Phantom Road #6, Dark Ride #9 and Poison Ivy #16 was fantastic!
Great video guys! Now we need to pick up Patrol Head, had it in our hands yesterday but put it back on the shelf.
Dracula and Void Rivals were so good this week. The Energon Universe is going to be EPIC!
Another great breakdown gentleman
