so this is a video about a introduction. Nothing to learn from it beside from the name Sungbo's Eredo, and that they plan to look at it.. lol They do not even mention what time period it is from.. (Well i learned that he is impressed, but not why.) One of the things i want to find out, is if this is a original African culture, or a culture that have picked up all the advanced things from the Arabs.. I will keep looking on other places for information about this.

Your showing your racism with the title of this video. YOU ARE CLEARLY IGNORING THE LITERAL TEMPLES MADE OUT OF MOUNTAINS IN ETHIOPIA! Even if we conceded the pyramids of Egypt. The architecture of East Africans is every bit, if not more so impressive than this. Please stop perpetuating racist stereotypes about African civilization.

Not to take anything away from any other historically cultural sites but the title states it's Africas Largest Cultural Monument... Sungbo's Eredos earthworks surrounds an ancient town that covers approx 400 square miles. That is massive!!

You could not have picked a better speaker for this topic and the program you were covering. I was blessed to have Selena agree to contribute to my forthcoming thesis on alchemy. She truly is a Global treasure and a Portland fixture on history. She is a sage and wise Crone for the whole world! She told me the story of that great celebration of the classics she pulled off easy back when! Epic! Blessings!

During this time, we all need to deeply analyze our current systems or processes in retrospective manner. In modern systems, everything is evaluated in monetary terms, so our minds have been trained from the beginning by our modern systems of education to tag a price for every living and non-living entities we encounter in our environments or ecosystems, for example, in my country (I’m from Sri Lanka), I once saw a roadside notice board displayed by an authorized group: “your garbage has a price, so don’t throw it out”. In fact, I thought that it should be changed as “your garbage is precious, so don’t throw it out”. So, it is so obvious that everything in modern systems is priced, and as a result, there is a big, heartless competition among people in the modern world for making money. This way of thinking destroys this planet for sure!

Amazing,,,we Hungarians are understanding what Eredo means. Eredet means origin, Eredo means comes from the original,,, interesting that in ancient mesopotamia have a sacred city after the deluge is Eridu, some similarities here... Wanna see more of this

The first city the god Kings established when they fell from An to Ki was 'Eridu', then the city fell and kingship was established in Lagash... In Nigeria, the yoruba people believe the sky father came to earth and lived in Erodo where there were fish..and created Yorubaland. Then later Lagos was created and then Agadez in Niger.

The similarities you mention I think are well founded and I too have been intrigued with these very interesting similarities for some years now. There is definitely great significance that may be seen better in the future.

This discovery is in fact the ancient biblical city of Jebus aka Jerusalem. It was inhabited by the Jebusites (the Ijebu people of Nigeria).

That's very interesting, but I think there's probably more to it. It's time for the veil to be lifted on Africa and for her true glorious past and contribution to human civilization be unveiled.
