Tried this two days ago and works great. Just wondering any tips on backhand. Haven’t tried yet. It was all left.

First time I went surfing I cut my leg on coral and got sunburned so badly it blistered. Standing up and riding waves was awesome, though, lol. Worth it.

The most toxic society in sports. Disrespecting each other This is disgusting behavior, knowing how you can harm, climb on someone else's wave and push those who did not notice you!

I never surfed. Ever in my life, I think one day I was standing on a surfboard in the sand and I tried to pop up and I got embarrassed by the fact I wasn’t able to do it properly being a bigger dude. But seeing your videos just inspired me to try it because of how helpful these clips were. Thank you!

Helpful stuff! I've also found that hand placement is also critical - too far forward and I can't get the leverage needed.

For the bad experience part, yeah i had some bad experiences but i think the worst one was when I was going over the falls for the first time, its so crazy when you are used to hold downs but you ultimately get a hold down wich is three times as long as you are used to, now i kind of enjoy the ride most of the time but when it first happened i thought about quitting surfing for real 😅🏄🤙🌊

I was always way too nice. Got the scars on my ribs to prove it from when some1 dropped in right on top of me outta spite & their fin went right over me. I know they did it on purpose cuz I heard him laughing about it with his boys later.
