great info! i have th same problem, now i know what to do i had a file earlier showing 170kb now showing 2700kb for no reason!
Excellent Video. Thank you so much!
Great tutorial, I really appreciate your presentation, you are conveying information in simple efficient and easy way. I wish I had such lectures in my university.
Absolutely impossible to retain information with the endless animated transitions in this video.
great work Sir, thank you very much
I've notice that is quite hard to take dimensions in invnetor, It loses it-self between a pont which is in front of you and a point meter from you, but it's in the screen. Also, it keeps changing selection between guessing planes you want to select and poits. Would be nice to have a feature to chose size of the point, to select it easier.
That seems to be a frequent request for Inventor. We suggest you provide that feedback directly to Autodesk using the Inventor Ideas forum: forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/
What is the rule style you used?
We checked with our resident AutoCAD Expert, here's what he said: The presenter created a pipe style (In infraworks) called parking stripes2’. It’s a custom style he created to display the parking curbs as pipes. (The expert asked is not the same as who made the video, he said): I’d wager he did the following: 1. Went into the Style Palette, selected the rectangular pipe style under pipelines tab, and created a copy of that 2. Renamed the copy to Parking Stripes2’ 3. Made modifications to the duplicated style (height and width to be a curb size of 2’), then used that when connecting to the DXF file
do you have a video on doing this to an open traverse? or is this just for closed traverses?
At this time, we do not have an alternate version of the Civil 3D traverse adjustment tool video that covers different network models. We will put your request on the list of recommendations for future videos. If you require assistance, you can contact IMAGINiT through our website (www.imaginit.com) and we can put you in touch with our services team to review appropriate training and/or support options.

I have been a user for over 16 years. There is always something to learn. However in my 2023 install the work plane short cuts do not appear to work as shown
The pattern is for odd shaped faces, in my opinion. I've had patterns on non-rectangular faces, where I had to turn off an instance here or there in the tree.

What should be the speed of walking?
We checked with the tech team, they said typical walking speed. No speed walking or running.

How can I add a structural column to an exterior steel stair? The stair starts on the level 2, comes away from the building (perpendicular), then turns and runs parallel to the building. How do i add a column under the landing where the stair turns? Do I just use the architectural column tool, or is there something in the stair tool that will let me do this?
Is it possible to add Northing, Easting, and Elevations to the structures?
Our technical experts provided this information: resources.imaginit.com/civil-solutions-blog/civil-3d-automated-property-set-data-northing-easting

It's not on the blog, but our team did manage to dig it up. If you want to visit our site and put notes into Contact Us or chat tool, we can email you the file in return. (just include name of the video please)
Revit can perform sectioning. However for smaller items, unsure Revit can do that.
Can it perform sectioning? It is not they produce section view and you draft.
Great video exactly what I needed to get the right nesting output.

Maybe Navisworks manage is enough for predicting in animation construction timeline. Good study though.

As a Revit user this sounds pretty obsolete in 2023.
