Playing on PC and the intro didn’t even play. I remember ALL of this
i played on the og xbox, the game was hard to pass but i manage to do after months many times i quit but then i retry and eventually passed it. The game wasnt really fair when playing the campaign

It's a shame they didn't follow how the cylons were originally created by a different race instead of humans as in the original Battlestar Galactica. I still think it's a really good game nonetheless.

So... Anyone gonna talk about the awesome red-shift/blue-shift effect when the Galactica goes to ftl? It just looks fantastic to me, and really seems in keeping with the aesthetic of the 70s show, like what they might have done with a bigger budget.

Yeah, in the original version. The camera is set differently. We get a closer look of Hulk destroying that rock. the Bruce Banner yelling part wasn't cartoonish and the Hulk instantly turned back instead of step by step.

A Lot of effects shots in this cutscene were used in the trailer for the 2003 Battlestar Galactica miniseries.
So that's why the miniseries looked like a freakin' videogame! Didn't care for it. The effects on the original series pilot were better than what little I saw of the miniseries before I turned it off. The shakycam and all the reimagined characters were a huge turn-off for me!

@@stevenbolda4696 for example the Galactica is an Original Series Battlestar during the main campaign. But somehow becomes a Jupiter class Battlestar 45+ years later. It's a separate continuity entirely. But is most similar to the Original Series in terms of narrative.
In the Original Series, Vipers were capable of light speed at full thrusters; limited amount of Tylium fuel supplies (even before the Battle of Cimtar) made it difficult (& restricted unless necessary.) In "The Long Patrol", Starbuck's recon Viper, "StarCjaser" can easily make past light speed because the ltecjs added extra "pulse generators" on the engines & removed the laser generators (weapons systems,) this solving the fuel efficiency problem.
