    Iceland 🇮🇸 is truly breathtaking but i disagree with your opening narrative, I once drove from the Florida keys to Seattle WA 🇺🇸, through everglades, deltas, Prarie, high desert, Canyons, mountains, volcanos Glaciers to Evergreen rainforest, that Is truly diverse . Happy trails 🏕 👣

    Embarking on a 10-day road trip through Iceland's South and West promises a journey through surreal landscapes and natural wonders. Picture yourself driving along the iconic Ring Road, passing by cascading waterfalls like Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. How do you imagine the mist from these mighty falls feels against your face? Exploring the black sand beaches of Vik, with their dramatic cliffs and crashing waves, evokes a sense of awe at nature's raw power. How would you describe the sensation of standing on these volcanic shores, watching the Atlantic Ocean stretch endlessly before you? Visiting the otherworldly landscapes of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, including the mystical Kirkjufell mountain, might make you wonder about the stories and folklore of this remote region. What mythical creatures or legends do you think inspired the tales of this land? Driving through Thingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, offers a glimpse into geological history. How does it feel to walk between continents, with history literally beneath your feet? As you plan your 10-day adventure in Iceland, which of these sights do you anticipate the most? What emotions do you expect to feel when surrounded by such natural beauty and wonder?

    Instead of driving back to Reykjavík, you could also have continued the drive to Mývatn, and then from there head to the akureyri airport, drop off the rental car there, and fly back to Reykjavík before then flying home. This way you still see new destinations instead of spending the time driving all the way back. Just another idea for anyone planning their Iceland trip. Great video!

  • @BS-lv2ol

    In fact, both Islands hold this title. Tenerife and Madeira. Madeira is called the Island of eternal Spring in many publications reaching from other travel vlogs, blogs, CNN Reports, to tourists information handed out by the office of tourism in Funchal and even on Madeiras tourism website itself. It is a very common term for Madeira.

  • @BS-lv2ol
    @BS-lv2ol3 ай бұрын

    @@willie549 you don‘t have to be from Madeira to do a little reasearch. „Madeira“ is literally one of the first suggestions that google makes, when you type „eternal spring“ in the search bar. In addition, it is not like there is some official committee, granting these kind of titles with a ceremony and a certificate. It is just a name that people who live there or people who‘ve been there call the island to express their feelings towards it. Since there are more than enough people who call it like this, it is definitely not wrong to say, that the island is called the „island of eternal spring“

    Here’s the thing: I loved your footage and you hit some really great spots. But this is the nature of life on an amazing island that has so much on it. There was so much missing: the surreal Fanal Forest (maybe your Panda couldn’t get there), the black sands on Seixal Beach, the natural pools at Porto Moniz and the Fatima chapel in Sao Vicente with its heavenly view of the valley below. Not to mention the separate island of Porto Santo with its best beach in Europe. We stayed there six weeks last year and there is still stuff we need to see when we move there later this year. It’s really a unique place.

    Hi, thank you for taking the time and writing this detailled comment ☺️ I really appreciate this. You are right, we did not visit each and every of the many places that Madeira has to offer and that we wanted to visit in the first place. At the time we were on Madeira the hiking trail to Fanal Forest was unfortunately closed, so we couldn‘t see it. It must be a really great place, from what can be seen on photos and videos. We were at Porto Moniz, but we didn‘t film there, so I left it out in the video. 6 weeks on Madeira sounds like a dream coming true to me 🌺👍🏻
