"cough" Why a disability? It's more like an ability. When you said "seriously" followed by "break a leg" you initiated, or should I say created the view of taking it literally.
Informative

Very important training saves us carers
Great training thank you .
Splendid training worth repeating
Asperger was a Nazi. How can anyone take this seriously if you're still using that term.
Hm, we shall look at revising this training at the next update. As the diagnosis of Asperger’s can still sit on a clients NHS medical record it is relevant from a ‘Homecare’ perspective in creating general awareness that, when the term was used for diagnosis in the UK, the client/patient may display characteristics in line with ‘Asperger’s’ or autism. Thank you for commenting 😊
Hans Asperger saved some people by arguing that they could still be useful members of society. He was a Nazi amongst Nazis in a dictatorship (a product of his environment). Without him, they would have killed Autistic people anyway but more would have died. His label of "Asperger's Syndrome" saved lives, but if you would have preferred those people killed, fine. No one is saying he was a good guy and should be respected, but not everything is black and white. I hate what the Nazis stood for, but I am grateful for Hans Asperger saving some. He was a lesser evil amongst other Nazi doctors.
Very very good and useful information here
Thank you 🙏🏼
Very good advice to all of us and under standing
Thank you for the feedback 😊
Thank you very informative
Thank you 🙏🏼
The term Asbergers hasn’t been used since 2013. Completely outdated.
Good morning, thank you for your comment and feedback 😊 Whilst doctors don’t formally diagnose Asperger’s syndrome anymore it is still a recognised condition on the autistic spectrum and the official NHS guidance states once an individual has received the diagnosis, by your dates pre-2013, then this diagnosis is never removed from their record. We therefore felt it would be remiss of us to omit Asperger’s from the training for our staff. We will consider a revision in our next training video, however our staff need to be aware of the existence of Asperger’s and that our clients may have the condition, if not a formal diagnosis, and that those of the older generation may carry a previous formal diagnosis which may be reflected in their care plan. Again thank you for your feedback 😊 Quick clip from the NHS website: ‘Some people use other names for autism There are other names for autism used by some people, such as: autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is the medical name for autism Asperger's (or Asperger syndrome) is used by some people to describe autistic people with average or above average intelligence More about Asperger's People with Asperger's do not have the same learning disabilities that many people with autism have, but they might have a specific learning difficulty. Some people call this "high-functioning" autism. Doctors do not diagnose people with Asperger's anymore because it's now thought of as part of autism spectrum disorder. But if you were diagnosed with it before, this will stay as your diagnosis.’
