Far too much glass in a minibus ! All that insulation is wasted because glass is the biggest loss of heat , what is the point of all those windows just to cover them up ? Better with a panel van and one or even two roof lights

Hi, it did originally have music, but people said it was annoying so I removed it. Can’t please everyone I suppose.

Oh I didn't realise you'll be able to run that heater from an inverter interesting
@jasonashdown15815 жыл бұрын
It’s 800w so a good inverter should run it for short periods

@@jasonashdown1581 that is great I'm going to look into this. I done suppose your family friend wants to make some more cushion do they?

James Phoenix Hi, sorry, it was just a 1 off favour. However she said it was straight forward to make for anyone with a sewing machine.

Hi I like your van build I've just bought a Vauxhall Movano 2014 panel van which I'm just about to start where did you get your seat covers from this is one thing I'm struggling with and he's your water heater a propex 10l mains only
@jasonashdown15815 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you. The seat cushions were just some material from EBay, a family member made them for me. It’s a 6LTR Propex heater, currently mains only but will be adding an inverter to run off grid.

Thank you, it’s the T trim edging you can by it on eBay or any Campervan parts supplier. Comes in 15mm or 18mm thickness.

CORRIGEEN71 thank you, in hindsight I should have put one over the seating area, but it was my first attempt and wasn’t sure it needed one when I started. Cost around £8000 including the van purchase at £3500.

Hi, This looks like an excellent job. I have the same van which I am just starting my first conversion attempt on now. Can I ask where you got the washroom door from, what were dimensions and cost? Thanks.
@jasonashdown15816 жыл бұрын
Alan Nicholson - Hi, many Thanks. The door was purchased from tambourline found them online. It cost £110 plus delivery and vat. It was very good and easy to fit, I went for the long corner track top and bottom, this slides the door around the wall rather than coils it on itself.

How long did this take? Budget? The finished result looks great and I'd love to do something similar one day.

Heatherzilla Hi, thank you. It took me 4 months, working weekends and evenings. Total cost including van purchase was £8000.

jason ashdown You did a fantastic job with that timeframe and budget. I don't think you could even get the van for that here in Australia. Aus post have a ton of these vans as their new fleet vehicles so the hope is I can pick up a decent one when they get auctioned off and replaced.

hi can you tell me where you got the bracket to hold the spare wheel and did you have to strenghthen the back door to hold it thanks,nice job.

Hi, I clamped 2 x unistrut bars on 18mm ply to create a solid plate to carry the threaded bars to hold the wheel. I've found it to be very secure and stable

jason ashdown not worried about someone knicking it? I need to do the same thing to my 2006 Renault master.
