  You want to know why the singer's voice sounds like it does? You see, to compensate for the female voice box, Female-To-Male Transsexuals tend to consciously (which becomes subconsciously) deepen their voice when they speak, or sing. Along with male hormone injections, and the use of the "proximity effect", you have what you're hearing... the singers voice sounds like a 15-year-old stoned out of his mind.

  I gotta say I really do miss this line up for dinosaur jr. This line up really made some amazing albums and had a certain sound that i feel like has never been produced with the OG members.

  I feel like the verse riff on this song has influenced aka been ripped off by every indie/emo band out there between 98 and 2010. I knew they influenced a lot of bands including myself but after revisiting this song it hit me just how huge and important these guys have been for nearly 40 years now!!

  This video is so awesome. It shows life in NYC. For New Yorkers it must be amazing to be recognized. For the the rest of us in the normal world, New York represents a sesspool of rats feces drugs and the worst society has ever offered.
