This was so incredibly helpful! Thank you very much. I have had the 2g and 5 g units for 4 years with no trouble at about 80 download speed. When I replaced my ASUS router, none of them work. I purchased a new KuWfi unit that is both 2g and 5G. With your video I was able to get the two units configured and connected. With the previous units I was able to connect a router at the slave end. For the life of me I cannot get the new units to acknowledge a router. Also, I can only use the 2g. The lights are on so it appears 5G is there. Should 2g and 5G be named the same? Finally, I am only getting a download speed of about 4 with this new unit. If you can offer any insight it would be greatly appreciated!
I’m having trouble When I connect my WiFi bridge to my home router I get WiFi in my shop but it intermittently disconnects WiFi in my home. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I need to find someone who can really go into detail on the topology of Hikvision setup. Can both sides of the NVR (LAN and Cameras) be set to the same IP address range? My router is set to 192.168.3. xxx and the NVR LAN side is set to 192.168.3.10 but when I set cameras to 192.168.3.21 and 192.168.3.23 and the Internal NIC to 192.168.3.20 I get an error message "IP Address Conflict". But setting the cameras to 192.168.3.xx is the only way they are visible in ivms4200. When I set cameras and Internal NIC address to 192.168.4.xxx I don't get an error message but the cameras are not visible in ivms4200.

If doing more than 2 Ap's should they all be connected to LAN at same time and "Pair" before disconnecting or can you add them 1 at a time over a half hour for example. Does each one need to pair?
was a good video however the program sucks. It will convert 1/3 of your video for free. After making a few, I realized that. So basically a waste of time.

I am trying to play back my NVR, but I keep getting a message that says no record. Can you help me out? I’ll figuring out what to do to get my NVR recording again? All cameras are online but nothing is being recorded. It stopped recording from one day to another
My NVR stopped recording out of nowhere. Cameras are still online and i can see them on my smartpss software but nothing is recording. Do you have a video on how to get my nvr recording again? Or does that mean my NVR is dead and need to be replaced?

It's definitely a spider moving across and the smaller dots are probably reflections in the lense/protective cover, or something caugth in its web.

Hi, my previous cctv dvr were stolen when there was a break in last month, and i just got a new dahua cctv system. I discovered that the motion detection messages were very helpful. However, are these messages and videos a recording stored virtually or is it just a snippet of playback from the dvr recording? The reason i asked is, can i still view the messages and the video of the motion detection if the dvr got stolen?
If the recorder is gone, I don't believe they will play back unless you had micro-SD cards in the cameras

IP cameras can work without an NVR if connected to a PoE switch, yes.
Can this switch be rack mounted?
The 8 port PoE switch comes with brackets to be rack mounted the 4 port PoE switch does not. Its too small.

Im not sure I understand the question. You can create groups in device management without creating a Hik-Connect account. You do not have to be logged in.
What is Line2 and Line3 ip cameras in hikvision
I think you mean Line 2, Line 4 and Line 6. Line 2 is entry, line 4 is Smart and Line 6 is professional.
What happens when it is an old camera same name but used in a different setting lost the password???
Reset camera to factory defaults. Then it will connect.

If you connect it to your local network through Wi-Fi and run it through and Hikvision or Dahua NVR you could link it to Smart PSS or IVMS. However, if you use the T Mobile SIM card, you need to use the Reolink App obviously.

Yes, the Reolink phone app is free. No, it does not work with other brands it works with Reolink.
Hey I have a 16 channel Hikvision Nvr with Poe switch on it and used a different Poe switch not same brand but set them to manual and input their Ip address but the channel number in the setup failed to change so all the eight cameras are running in channel No 1 so they keep on changing the like when you leave one on channel one another day you find it on channel 3 on the screen and that’s it. What could be the problem
Just change the name of your cameras and the names will sync in
