What a joke ... A captain that is afraid to maneuver her the ship she commands ... the Staff Captain is doing that at all times and is extremely sexist , allowing a few to no male workers on the bridge ... and this is allowed because she`s a woman , if a man would do that it would be the end of his career

The thing about Sim Lim Square is that it has seen a lot of iterations over the 20+ years in operation together with Sim Lim Towers right next to it. Sim Lim Square is largely for completed products (new prebuilts or repairs) and Sim Lim Towers are for selling items or components that will go into the final product (resistors, capacitors, etc...)

Chesterton said every high civilization fails by forgetting the most obvious things. Well, the obvious thing we still do in Singapore is catch miscreants, enforce the law, have punishments harsh enough to deter. Britain has been so genteel and civilized for so long that it has forgotten that obvious thing, and may no longer have the stomach for it. Boggles the mind that the (supposedly “law and order”) Tories have been in power so long yet haven’t embarked on root and branch reform. Which brings us back to no longer having the stomach for it.

It works perfect! You must have a small stripe, only 3 or 4 mm. On the left side, down in the corner. You feel directly, when the stripe "lock in". And very important!! Notice the four numbers. They are not!!!! the opening numbers. Thats the openning mechanism numbers in front. The opening mechanism must be move to the top. Now you must move the number plate syncron to the numbers. For easy example: You find 0000. Now move all four syncron to 1111, next 2222........ all four together!! And you will see, it works. My number on the front was 3030, after syncron moving the number plate, the real opening number was 7474 !! Good luck!

@@MrYracheta82It about your feeling in your fingers. first try all numbers in the first row. And take time.. When you mean at one number ist feels different, then take another row. When you feel the same different your on the right way. That was my way and it works.

Hi. Congrats on the BL8002, beautiful speakers. I have a houseful of B&O, ( including a pair of Beolab 8000’s) predominantly from the 80’s to 2000’s era, and certainly nothing new from the current range. The short answer to your video title of ‘ Is B&O worth it? is, it depends on your expectations. B&O certainly isn’t your conventional hifi in any way, and is generally scorned and ridiculed in the audiophile world as design over performance, however to me their audio products from the era I have generally has a lovely warm sound signature that I particularly enjoy. Their design ethos is unique in the hifi world, and somehow speaks to me in a way that no other hifi does. Regarding a sub, certainly in a large room the 8002 will need one, and the BL2 is a good choice but can be overpowering if not set up properly. It is possible to use non B&O subs with the 8000’s but this will require some quite specific cables - which Steve at Sounds Heavenly would certainly have and advise you on. The Beosound 9000 is a wonderful machine and a B&O design classic, but has a level of engineering and complexity like no other CD player that I know of so I would advise very careful research before buying. Again, Steve has done a very good video talking though some essential key points regarding buying a 9000. In case you decide a 9000 may not be the way to go, I can recommend a Beocenter 9500 as an alternative. ( I have one). It has a cd player, radio and tape player, with the cd and tape at opposite ends of the machine hidden under 2 sliding mirrored aluminium doors which look fantastic. It offers powerlink connections for the Beolab speakers but also has 2 pin din connections for passive speakers with a healthy 40 watt amp. Added to that it has 3 auxiliary inputs, ( the BS 9000 only has 1, and no phono stage),one of which is a phono stage as the 9500 has a phono pre amp inbuilt should you wish to add a Beogram turntable or non B&O turntable at some point. I’m known for rambling on about B&O, this being no exception, so I’ll finish by welcoming you to the addictive world of B&O ownership. I’ll follow any of your future videos for updates and please ask if I can be of any help. Enjoy.

Thanks for your comment, yes, I agree with the warmth of the sound, and funnily enough I have been looking at Beocenter 8500 and 9500 as an option but would prefer the freestanding aspect of the Beosound 9000. in addition I have been following Steve at sounds Heavenly and he has supplied the cables to connect my existing pre outs to the Beolab 8002. I am enjoying this venture into the world of B&O.
