I have had the honor and privilege of singing this with Alouette on a number of occasions, including the Pub Sing video Peter shared last Winter. This rendition is wonderfully done, with a superb blending of voices. Happiest of holidays, and every day, to you all!

I love Rev. Anne's analogy of the Carmen vortexes in our own lives, and her encouragement to find ways for them to coexist in society.

Nate's singing was beautiful; Ben's reading of Alfred Lord Tennyson, so apt for these dark but hopeful times. Also, the quote from Arundhati Roy: very powerful. Rips's playing throughout was inspiring and at the same time soothing. Very touching story, told by Lisa Maria, of one little Dutch boy holding the water back from inundating the town of Harlaam and its analogy to day.. Anne's sermon was very, very powerful, and brought me to tears. I'm so glad we have these services available on youtube, so that whenever we can not be present at the actual service, we can still see it through youtube.I love the idea of a portal, caused by the pandemic, and what we can create on the other side of the portal. (like the Plague of the Middle Ages, and the end of feudalism on the other side of the portal, as well as the surge of the Rensaissance after the Plague: already surging in Italy but spreading almost throughout Europe afterward.) - Perfect way to end it, with Rip playing Imagination.
