  Hey, so I have 80 faith, 70 endurance. As long as you have high faith level and some good talismans that scale with faith (both flock talismans) you’ll be good!

  I've been testing as well, the pestilent threads are also really good at breaking his stance. Also, the pots don't work while he is downed, you have to repost him and then throw the pot while he is getting up or the pots just fail for some reason. Admittedly the spears do seem to be a fair bit better at stance breaking him, I just didn't have good luck using the spell on a variety of enemies so I wound up discounting it.

  When he is down, it seems like the pots don’t do any damage, but it stacks with the critical hit. But never mind all of that, you don’t even need pots, I just did a fresh run, and used spears only, killed it in 24 seconds, they are very viable, check the the link to the video in the description
