    Got to hand it to the Germans when it comes to weapons they always had a thing for it they made one of the LMGs in the world and made the first assault rifle in the world even in today's world their WWII weapons are still fearsome.

    The MG42 other wise known as Hitlers saw the fasted firing man carried machine gun in the world when it comes down to sheer fire power and rate of fire the mg42 is still supreme after WWII. and yes I know this is the modern version though for sheer fire power alone our M60 machine gun is still the king the size of the rounds for that thing are insane.

    German-made MG3s are metallurgically superior but still it's prone to jams from dust or mud unlike PKM. That's why Turkish army switched to PKMs in the field despite the low rate of fire. If you clean it regularly and maintain it in good condition MG3 beats the sh.t out of any LMG out there including the modern M249. There's just no LMG with this muzzle energy and firing rate.

    Not too sure on that, because the mg42 might be priced as a historic piece so will be more expensive, and since the mg3 is still in production in many countries there is alot more of it available. Legally its far too expensive! The mg3 is a hell of fun, but not really a shoulder weapon, i'd class it as a medium machine gun rather than a light machine gun, though u can fire it from the hip its not controllable, and is best fired mounted or on a bipod.

  • @XbenXdoverX1337
    @XbenXdoverX133711 жыл бұрын

    So, it wouldn't be cheaper to get it legally than an MG42?

  • @bakhti5124
    @bakhti512411 жыл бұрын

    i do not think you can find this on any market, so it's extremely difficult to put a price on it. A transferable mg3 pre ban your looking at atleast $50,000 If however, you were to go to a black market in say Pakistan your looking at about $2000-£3000. but even there it would be very very difficult to find.

    Hammerdals kompani utbildades 03-04 senaste gången som ett mek.spaningskompani (dvs året innan Bergs mekskyttekompani 04-05). Som tröst så kan du söka på "Spaning Väntan och Strid" här på KZread så hittar du del 1 och del 2 av deras kompanifilm , som delvis inspirerat denna Bergs-filmen.

    Since the MG42 is from 1942, German combat doctrine mustd have been inspired by the MG34, which had been around since 1934. The MG34 was good but it was sensitive to dust fouling. The MG42 used about half the material it took to built an MG34 and it was actually better. But since it entered the war in 1942, when Germany had been at war for 3 years, it must have been the MG34 which dictated German doctrine.

    There was no MG3 in WW2. But if you mean the MG42, this gun shot 1200-1500 rounds per minute. If the gun was cold, it shot ~1200 rpm, if it was hot, it shot more, up to ~1500 rpm. MG3 is shooting ~1200 rpm any time, if there is no new piston, which reduces it's rate of fire to ~750 rpm.

  • @Humanophobie

    in the ww2 the MG3 shoot 2400 times in a minute, but then its was updated with a new piston and now it shoots 1200 times a minute, excuse my bad english
